The two things I hope never are in my obituary..."Died on the toilet (like Elvis)" or "Died while masturbating".

R.I.P grasshopper

popeye1250 -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/5/2009 5:39:54 PM)

Now they're saying he was doing that "auto- erotia" stuff with the rope!
Remember the TV show?
Why was the "MASTER" "blind?" ("Yeah, keep doin' it!")
Kind of makes you want to re-think masturbtion.
(Funny, on the show the"Master" didn't have any kids!)

LotusSong -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/5/2009 6:56:48 PM)

My brother, who lives in Thailand, sent me a blog going on about this.

It appears that when a foreigner dies in Thailand, it is always a "sucide" as to not portray the country as a dangerous place for foreigners,. I'm keeping an eye on this through him. Also, the smoking gun had some additional insight

lronitulstahp -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/5/2009 7:08:06 PM)

Apparently in his divorce papers, his ex-wife mentioned that he was into "deviant sexual acts" which were potentially deadly. At least that's what the fine folks at TMZ via The Smoking Gun have to say....

I wonder whether his assassins gave him an enema before they hung him to suffocate.

I just read a news item in my country. It is reported that Thai coroners, having done the autopsy, have concluded that the actor died from unnatural causes. It is also reported that in the hours preceeding his death he was in the best of moods.

I wonder why he was murdered. A very wild guess: did he personally know someone who died during 911 - perhaps an actor - that he recognized alive during the last days of his stay in Thailand? There must have been a very pressing reason to decide to murder such a high profile actor as he was.

Damn.

First David Eddings and now this.

I wish his spirit peace.

Oh fuck, that I did not know.

Also, yes. Shaolin monks are awesome.

Rule...this surprises no one. Did you think the coroner was going to state he died from a heart attack???

And as to his state of mind prior to his death...there are suicide victims that feel such a sense of relief that their decision is made... they are in good spirits prior to the actual act (making it so much harder on their families)

I'm not saying i disbelieve the theory that there was foul play, but i am also not convinced.

Rule -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/6/2009 4:17:07 AM)

I know that it was a murder because I know of a similar case involving a Dutch reporter in Chile or Argentinia: drink spiked, found hanging in a closet in his hotel room wearing, made from his own clothing, diapers and some kind of pants to collect the urine and poop to prevent early discovery of the corpse. He was there investigating a weapons deal. Possibly got killed by a specialist team of ciaassassins?

This appears to be a modus operandi as there are more people murdered that way. The circumstances of DC's death indicate the same modus operandi.

sirsholly -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/6/2009 4:22:06 AM)

You may well be right, Rule...it is going to be interesting to see what happens, although we may never know the truth.

Another

"A member of the emergency crew who was called to the hotel after a maid found Carradine told CNN that a yellow nylon rope was tied around the actor's neck and a black rope was around his genitals"...."The same emergency crew source said Carradine's hands were not tied, contrary to some media reports. Smith, the co-manager, also said media reports quoting the actor's management saying the hands were tied were untrue".

Edited to add
quote:
quote:

"Carradine’s manager Chuck Binder claimed the star’s hands had been bound behind his back — and a footprint on the bed did not match his shoes".... "the actor was drinking in the hotel bar the night before he was found"

So was his drink spiked in that hotel bar?

As I suspected: he got too close to some top secret organization and its dealings.

I hated Kung Fu.  It was so fucking boring; I never understood the appeal of that show.  Of course, I've never liked any of those 'chop suey' nonsensical movies.

Now I did like him in that movie where he portrayed Woody Guthrie, Bound for GloryIt's a great movie, and he did a good job portraying Guthrie.  RIP.

ShaharThorne -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/8/2009 5:46:08 PM)

David is going to be on an episode of "Mental" tomorrow night at 9pm eastern on Fox. Perhaps his last act in a long career.

“All we can say is, we know David would never have committed suicide,” said Tiffany Smith, of Binder & Associates, his management company.

I quote:

Lt. Teerapop Luanseng, the officer responsible for investigating the death....“I can confirm that we found his body, naked, hanging in the closet,” Teerapop said.

I quote:

a quote a Bangkok police officer gave to British newspaper The Sun.
The cop tells reporters, "A rope was attached to his neck and also to his penis".

My conclusion: this was a professional assassination. The rope was tied around his penis to prevent his bladder emptying. He was hung in the closet for the same reason: to delay discovery. I would expect him to have gotten a drink that was spiked with a sedative, after which a team of at least three assassins invaded his hotel room.
Lt. Teerapop Luanseng of course is a suspect, as he may have been appointed to hush up any evidence that the actor was assassinated.

I wonder why he was assassinated. Did he get too close to a major weapons or drugs trade, or some other major secret?

I read today that is was an assasination by an 'underground martial arts group' and that his family have asked for FBI involvement...

Yes, I'm sure a squad of ninjas from some dark, ancient, secret society snuck into his room and killed him.  He obviously was a grave threat to them, what with the recent revival in his acting career.  No longer would the secrets he harbored about the dark world of martial arts be relegated to B-movies.  He was about to reveal them to the entire world.  After Kill Bill they knew what had to be done......he had to be silenced.  Yes, that seems likely.  [8|]

VanDarksyd -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/9/2009 9:39:12 AM)

The fact of the matter is, no matter where, how, or why he's gone, he is gone, and the world is all the poorer for it. I personally, like what Spoony has to say on the matter. (scroll down to the fifth video) A fitting tribute, i believe.
