He was into bizarre sex, a kinkster, he must have enjoyed the near death senarios, and...the whore he hired didn't know her shit, and he accidently killed himself, playing at death. I am curious as to why everyone is being so hard on a dead man.

With the things that everyone of us do every day can no one see even more so now what can happen when when you take risks.

Seriously regardless of if he was assassinated or not, he obviously died from asphixiation.

If it WASN'T an assassination everyone who engages in Breath Play should realize just how easy it is to DIE from something like this. Believe it or not many deats can be attributed to accidental asphxiation it is so common that CSI had an entire show on it.

Steel, I wonder why so many think he was so great.  Most of his movies sucked.  Sorry to all you Kung Fu fans, but he wasn't that great of an actor.  I feel for his family, but the guy died in an incredibly stupid way.  I've known it's not a good idea to hang myself while jerking off since I was a kid.  For fucks sake, there have been numerous warnings against it because of all the deaths.  The difference is that most of those deaths were teenage boys, not men in their 70's. 

I'm not into breath play; it's a bad idea.  But even so, when I think of breath play, I think of a partner being there.  At least with a partner, you have someone to call an ambulance and adminster CPR.  When you're alone in a closet jerking off with your neck and testicles suspended from the clothing rail, you're asking for trouble.  Let's not forget the fact that he was last spotted in a bar, so I imagine he had a few drinks in him.  Again, asking for trouble.  I'm not trying to be hard on the guy.  But I can't help seeing the humor in his death and thinking, "What a dumbass!"

Edited to add:  Sorry, there aren't any martial arts shadow groups running around assasinating people.  C'mon people, get fucking real.  We don't live inside of an action movie, that's just ludicrous.  It's beyond laughable.  How in the hell could anyone believe that?  I assure you there aren't bands of ninjas running around in the cover of night looking to wack kung fooey, b-movie, action stars.

Okay that gave me a chuckle.

I don't really have a problem with the fact that you find humor in it but For Fucks Sakes a Man died. He is Dead. He will be here no more. He has ceased to be. and although the reality of what happened is that someone did something that they enjoy and ended up dead from it there is the rest of that reality that even if you do not care for him many did (I was one of him) I could listen to him talk for days.

Truth be told I understand that he was Arrogant and Cocky and that he was the BEST out of his Brother Keith and Father John They apparently were very difficult to work with.

The last thing I saw him in was Big Stan, and Later this week will be his last Television part on Mental, (Ironic I know) anywhich way you look at it a Person died, someone who touched a lot of people with his work, perhaps not you, but he did and now he is dead and will never be able to do that again, and yet for some reason all we can do is talk shit because of how he died.

Google the statistics and realize how many Darwin Award Type people there are on this planet of all the ways to go I can think of worse and much more retarded ways than David went out.

I just think it might be nice if we didn't kick the Dead Kung Fu Shaolin Monk while he's tied to his penis in a Closet dead from Asphxiation.

That is what I think, I will leave the rest of you to your attacks of a man who did nothing openly outreageous up till his death and yet we still think Britney, and Kim, and Lindsey are valid topics. I just don't get it.

I was never a great fan of his, I never trusted his eyes, but beyond that, he bought pleasure to untold numbers of people, he was a perv and that cost him his life.

I liked his work.. He was even funny in the recent Crank 2.. He was wearing so much makeup and facial hair, I barely recognized him...and in fact, mentioned I could see him playig this part..when I read the credits, and saw it WAS him, I cracked up..

He treated me like a jerk at a convention, but I don't offend easily, and forgave him..since I loved most of his work. So I am still sorry to hear he is gone. Since he was working on another project, you can litterally say, he provided entertainment till the day he died. Not many people can claim that.

I didnt call him a pervert, I called him a perv, that isnt a negative to me, I consider myself a perv and am proud of it, so if I offended you for my lack of good taste in words, try to look at it from my perv point of view and not a slam against what he did for kicks.

Also I am not in the habit of insulting people for their kinks even when they go beyond my comfort zone. so you got the wrong vibe from my post.

And on topic..........yanno, the guy wasn't a yout.......he coulda just happened to die when he was being pervy. Kinda like when I was a kid and the old man next door keeled over into his Cheerios. Neither way is exactly the most dignified way to gasp your last breath but I am betting David had a little more fun in those last few breaths than Mr Bean did.
