I have to go under the knife due to diverticulosis.
They'll be removing parts of my large intestine. They told me that I'll have to wear a colostomy bag for a few weeks.
Gee, this is going to be fun.
"LAST ONE IN THE POOL IS AN ASSHOLE!!!"

I wish you all the best. I have had a colostomy, which included the removal of all of my large intesting and various other bits, since 1997. If you want any help or advice just pm me.

Best wishes in recovery.

Try a liquid (beer, whiskey, etc.) diet during the recovery period.....and for gods sake....do NOT look in the bag...[;)]

Your too tough to let anything get you down!....I hope all goes well....My wife went through something similar(no colostomy) twice!...and she is tough like you!....hell, she has put up with Me for 25 years!!!!!!
