They go away?
well DAYUMN now I need to find an age machine n grow a couple of decades..

But....... If they go away you no longer have a logical and legal excuse for for having a bitch fit when it suits.  Now I am really perplexed.. Ahh well nothing like being a mere male I suppose..

Actually...the only time my hormones were out of whack was when i was pregnant. I wanted sex all the time, but it had to be a quickie (before i had to pee again [8|])

oceanwinds -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 12:28:04 PM)

Hormones..oh well being menopausal, and now finishing cold turkey on smokes. you might as well stuck a fully charged generator on me and sent me flying. I became the bat from hell. bad ocean

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 1:07:57 PM)

My nurse practitioner told me that one of the meds I am on has a convenient side effect of minimizing hot flashes!  Since in my family menopause hits somewhere around age 60, that tidbit cheers me.  [:)]

MistressRouge -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 1:40:09 PM)

Many of my masochists visit me at my PMT time, I am not sure why [:D]

Lockit -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 1:43:40 PM)

I would do many things to find a way to minimize hot flashes!  Going on ten years of an inner heater without a shut off... I am getting a bit tired of being a hot mama!  Although I don't like wearing clothes, there are some cute things I would like to wear when I have to be clothed and tank tops are becoming a hard limit!  It is so not fair!  You get the sags and wrinkles and still get punished... is there an end? lol  Death by hot flash isn't the way I want to go!

Glad you can enjoy my suffering though! hehe

subtlebutterfly -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 4:12:37 PM)

That's why you ladies need one or two of those submissives/slaves that fan you with palms n serve ya grapes or sum[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

kitastrophe33 -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 4:15:41 PM)

I'm on a monophasic birthcontrol pill so I go from hormone peaks to nothing pretty abruptly. And then I'm back on them so my estrogen is all of a sudden high again. I much less likely to want to submit during those shifts (all emotional and bitchy) but those are the times that I need my partner to be even more firm with me so I don't act like a crazy person. So he does that. And seeing him be all extra domly makes me all horny, which is not too convenient.

On the plus side, because I get so crazy from PMS, my doctor said I could just take 3 or 4 pill packs in a row (skipping over the blanks and going to the next pack). So I get a period once every 63-84 days. Usually 63.

Lockit -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 4:18:46 PM)

I know I have mentioned that very thing pretty winged one!  Lot's of us liked the idea... but darn if my lil beach here is empty!  Grapes I have... sand I have... the chair, towels and fan's and no man to pamper me!

But so far today I have been told why!  First... I was not beautiful, was in fact..omg... a monster!  Second... I was seen as mad simply laughing and commenting on some things in my journal... I wasn't mad!  Third... I am a domina on the message boards and therefore I am unfair, have no life and am a player with no life who only wants to shred men making them defensive so I can get them again!

On second thought... I will fan myself! lol

subtlebutterfly -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 4:27:54 PM)

is Black Cohosh one of them? :)

AlexandraLynch -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 4:34:32 PM)

I have two good weeks, one week that is not that great, and one week from hell.

It will be interesting, given that I've got a live-in sub, how that affects the period issues. Probably will help since I can let him do stuff and not worry about it. But my sex drive gets submerged under pain and sometimes I'm absolutely fine as long as I don't get sexually aroused.

IronBear -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 5:45:34 PM)

For quite some years now, Neets has been using the birth control implant, implanted in her arm just above the elbow with no ill side effects and virtually no discomfort. The big plus for her and several of our friends who are using the same thing, is that monthly they only have a couple of days of light spotting and no PMS. I know it is not for everyone but for those who are suited for it, it is worthy of consideration.

scarlethiney -> RE: Hormones--al--or not (6/9/2009 9:17:03 PM)

I thought having just turned 50 I could look forward to no more periods..............no such luck. I am still having a regular period (Jesus God). Three days before my period  I hate people....as in any living human. I am fine once my period starts but God help you if you even breathe near me three days before.
I haven't experienced any power surges yet and not really looking forward to it.

I am currently on that hcg injection diet and I do notice that I am much more moody since starting it. Not overly so but not my normal happy go lucky self.

At the ripe old age of 45... i have PMDD...its AWFUL, a few days before my period its terrible. Its like i am trapped in a glass coffin, and this crazy awful woman has hi jacked my body.  i can hear the words coming out of her mouth, but i can't stop her. i'm weepy, i'm VERY down, i'm clingy, i feel physically ill (cramps, diarrhea, achey) and i also will get at least one genuine migraine before, during, or after my period. [:(] Seriously...shoot me please?
