Status: offline 		As for putting him in jail for life or giving him the death penalty.....any jail time at his age is a death penalty. Unfortunately giving one a death sentence will mean many many years in prison going through appeals that never seems to end. Personally, I'm sure there are many that will say they should simply take him out back and be done with him.

As for him having a firearm at all, yes he is a convicted felon. Therefore by law, by law, he is not allowed to have a firearm. However as already stated here there are many ways he could have gotten it. Perhaps he had it for many years before he was even convicted of his previous case, may never know.

Mothers, daughters, raped, tortured, mutilated, murdered. Some of the cases make you wretch.
Yet Katie Couric never mentions them, Brian Williams doesn't cover them, Charlie Gibbs passes over them. The New York Times never covers them. They garner no national media let alone INTERNATIONAL media attention.

Why is this single case, above the horrific murders with torture and mutilation, getting this media blitz, WORLDWIDE?

Why is that?

Do criminals convicted of a crime in Washington D.C. go to Federal or State penitentiary? Anyone know off-hand?

Looks like somebody got the O'Reilly talking points.

As to why this is getting coverage, this was an attempt to attack museum patrons attending a comemoration of Anne Frank's 80th birthday by a holocaust denying anti semite with a long criminal record. That is newsworthy everywhere but FauxNews.

Mothers and daughters raped, tortured, mutilated, and murdered on a daily basis?

And we never hear of them?

I think maybe you should start calling in tips on these horrific crimes you know about and no else does.

Because somehow I can't imagine Couric, Williams, Gibbs, or the Times passing over stories like that.

They'll be grateful.  You might even get a monetary reward.

I dare to say that I'm much closer to the middle than any current informed Obama supporter... and when I'm in the kitchen things rarely come out burned, or too raw to eat.

Always just the right amount of spice, too.

1) the guy has been officially designated a domestic terrorist.
2) his connection to the republicans has been established.
3) He seems to have been working alone, but the authorities are still investigating his internet connections.
4) This won't be the last. We're only six months into the first four years. The GOP-pods are out there, and they are taking their orders from the most extreme elements of the republican party. And they are preaching hate and violence.
5) Vote to end extremisim. Vote Democratic.
