OH PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You might (might!!) be able to make that statement if he did not have such an extensive history of overt hatred for all things/races different from him.

I do not give a dead rats ass how old he was or what happened to his social security check...and i bet you the family of the guard he killed feels the same.

So fucking sick of blaming the government for shit like this. HE is responsible for his actions....no one else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen.

Hatred sometimes passes on as a sort of "inheritance".  Parents enforce their vile beliefs upon their children by spewing their particular rhetoric and nonsense until children accept the words as truth.  Children being impressionable often adopt the ideology of their parents.
However, sometimes the opposite happens. Hatred pushes children away from such parents. What is sadder than for a parent to lose the usually unconditional love and acceptance of their own child?

quote:

For the extremists who believe my father is a hero: it is imperative you understand what he did was an act of cowardice," he said.
"To physically force your beliefs onto others with violence is not brave, but bullying. Doing so only serves to prove how weak those beliefs are. It is simply desperation, reminiscent of a temper tantrum when a child cannot get his way."

quote:

"I cannot express enough how deeply sorry I am it was Mr Johns, and not my father who lost their life,"

quote:

His views consumed him, and in doing so, not only destroyed his life, but destroyed our family and ruined our lives as well.

-Erik von Brunn,32...and son of the hate-filled monster that commited this crime.

it is very sad, Tulip. And can you imagine the kind of life the son lead that brought him to the point where he disowned his own father?

I wonder if the shooter thinks the loss of his son was worth all that hatred and violence and venom?
