There are times you feel like you wanna lock away the world and times you feel like you are gonna scream with cabin fever if you dont get out of the house. When I was a new mom(23 years ago) I wasnt allowed to leave the house for ten days, (I ripped my stitches twice) , by the 7th day I was going nuts, hormonal, tired beyond belief, I was feeding every two hours for two hours(milk hadnt come down properly) if my hubby had tried to keep me indoors or off my feet, he would be a corpse and I probably would have gotton away with it. My health visitor told me I had to walk everyday with the baby, get some excercise, help melt away the pregnancy fat, be healthy for the baby. It was a mile walk to the clinic and docs, no car, no public transport. every restaurant in that mile knew me very well.
