It shouldn't - not for me, anyway.  But . . . . I imagine that some will consider that D/s breaks so many conventions that this convention of loyalty might as well be broken, too.  That may not be a bad thing at all for lots of people involved in D/s.

Status: offline 		I expect at least at the start a degree of loyalty that I would find in friendship. Any more would grow and blossom naturally with the relationship. And while loyalty looks a bit different in D/s, I would argue that it is still there, and sometimes is more deeply understood and explored since the relationship breaks conventional boundaries.

Status: offline 		When I was a pro dominant, I knew a circle of other pro doms that I trusted, and if someone came to me with a wish that I could not fulfil, I would recommend them to someone else. There were men who made the rounds of all of us. There is no loyalty in business---customers can go where they please.

   It is up to Us to make boundaries clear - and what grey areas are allowed to be pushed.
    Most 'nillas go on what is 'expected' of them; get married, have babies. blah blah.

WE don't always understand at first the depth of another's experience with what we do - so we ask a lot of questions - we look for interests that coincide with Our own.
I know I still tend to be more the Optimist, even though it's so easy to get burnt out with fakes and do-me's.  
  I think I'm saying that because it is tougher to find S/someone in the Lifestyle that suits us - we try harder and wish for better results.  Loyalty seems to be a primary concern.

Status: offline 		If I do not have them collared then I dont worry about them trying to get DOMMED somewhere else,they do come back and tell it and it really gives them a chance to see that like everyone else each DOMME has her own style and the s might find someone else more to their likingthats life.

Status: offline 		Loyalty:  You must be extremly fortunate to serve additional Dommes.  It is difficult to find one Woman who appreciates the services of a submissive.  This in itself makes me very loyal.  Unless of course you have been told by your Mistress to serve others???  If that is the fact then you are a lucky person.
