I do believe we are ALL adults here, and know the rules.  Posts do tend to ebb and flow, just like normal conversation.    And common courtesy?  Pfft.  I think you threw that outta the window posts ago sweetie.

I'm petite, slender, and curvy. I haven't met any large women who *aren't* curvy, though! Anyway, there are plenty of ways to get the thought across, or you can e-mail them your picture (through the CM system, or a free e-mail address through gmail or something). It took them almost a month without approving or denying my pictures - I wound up creating a separate account, then couldn't log into the forums with it! Not a huge deal, though.

Well honestly it just seems like all of you people are doing the very things you hate to see happen to forums. That's why you hate forums like this. Because they always turn ugly. News flash: People like you turn them ugly. Not me. So be apart of the solution and ignore what you don't like or agree with instead of throwing a fit.

POT KETTLE BLACK .... Any Questions?

Asherdelampyr -> RE: Why are Big women called 'curvy'... (6/17/2009 9:20:07 PM)

Actually, I kinda enjoy when some rampant jackassery from some OP that has been repeated by soo many others is revealed and ridiculed.

Where in the TOS does it say I'm not allowed to disagree with something said on a forum???

Oh you sexy Woman of Size I think you are what Shakespeare wrote about when he wrote of Beauty. You can have as many questions as you like.

Oh you must have missed that tidbit in the "being a mature adult" handbook.

MoGa -> RE: Why are Big women called 'curvy'... (6/17/2009 9:26:00 PM)

But in the meantime?

Do you mean to tell me that the masses of men cant wait til you post a photo to see whether you are worthy or not of their attention? I think that your problem is much bigger..or..curvier..than what it appears. Send them a damn photo with your first email for heavens sakes. Us "fat" women don't want to use the term "fat", we like curvy and we aren't going to stop using it just because some shallow minded girl can't get past her own self to look at this any other way than "I can't describe myself curvy, because the fat chicks use that term". Get over youself. Describe yourself as you really are, not what you look like.

And as far as Kali sticking to the topic, she can say anything she wants to in any thread, you don't own this topic. It is open for DISCUSSION or any other discussion that WE want to talk about. Don't like it? Put it in your journal, where no one else can "hi jack" it.

Whether I am bigger or smaller I am always voluptuous and curvy. Curvy denotes shape not size. So I can use it wehether I am 145 or 200.

Yep.  I'm was curvy when I was 110 pounds and a size 7, and I was curvy at 200 pounds and a size 14, and now hey, I'm STILL curvy at 165 pounds and a size 10.  My hip and bust size is always proportionately bigger than my waist.  Thus, curves.  Voila.

Tantriqu -> RE: Why are Big women called 'curvy'... (6/17/2009 9:27:00 PM)

Why big women are called curvy:

'cuz skinny guys are called straighty?

Actually, in my handbook it says that mature adults invite disagreement in order to foster communication & to get feedback regarding their ideas.  Mature adults who have great ideas don't get all testy when someone disagrees with them.  How boring if everyone just agreed with everyone else!!
