I dig that the series had Wee LI'l Sexy Thang from Just Shoot Me, but that was about it.

The Novel I can get behind (then again I'm a buttpig and get behind a fair amount of things). 

Some would say that parts of the Gunslinger series effectively were "sequels" or "prequels" due to the fact they shared the same antagonist.
