Status: offline 		Initially, the emails I was receiving were courteous, but now it seems I am getting a rash of rather crude and unacceptable ones. This is why I am posting this post, for all the Doms to see. You may read it if you want or not, you may comment if you want or not and to the ones that do make comment, should I feel the need to reply, I may send you a little present in your box

Gentlemen, for those of you that I have spoken to in the past and who treated me well. I appreciate it; I respect you for it and I thank you for it. For those of you who I have not had the pleasure. I am:

Simple courteously, respect, use the manners I know you all have, go a long way. Please don’t leave these at the log-in screen.

I would like to believe there are a lot more good men than evil ones. I have to believe that. But there are those have shattered our trust and faith. We are becoming very suspicious and somewhat jaded and I hope that you can see why. Many of you will never get the chance because of what the few of you have done. I believe its time for you to police your own. How you ask? I honestly don’t know. I suppose you could ask the subs maybe. I leave that up to you. I do believe that if things do not change, this board will die.

There are a lot of new, younger Doms coming here and they mimic what they see. Some are picking up the bad habits of the few. I believe the newbees that are sincere in their quest, be treated as you yourself would. We have all made mistakes and we were all once new. Please try to remember that the next time you are tempted emasculate one of them.

However one small problem, the people who read the boards aren't the morons who send those emails. So your rant isn't going to accomplish anything. It wouldn't matter if you put all this as your new profile as the idiots who write this trash don't read profiles. They see new member, female and they send out their form letters.

Learn to deal with it, delete, block, laugh and jeer and move on.

This may be true, but I figured If I post it right in front of their faces and maybe it might get thru to some of the people to that need to hear it, I am hearing all the " well how dare she call herself a sub" remarks and my favorite "she needs to be punished" The only way any of them are getting to this behind is in their dreams

Though one can't actually be 100% sure, it's difficult to believe that the Doms taking the time and trouble to sincerely express and subject their views to public scrutiny (posting on Forums) are also the "doms" hiding behind the anonymity the Net offers to write geek mail.

Since this is a BDSM site and that D/s and M/s are relationships based on an unequal control dynamic, here's the best (yet most basic) thing I learnt about control. Don't ever beat yourself up/lose sleep/worry about things you personally have no control over - such as who emails you on a public site. Now I've known that since I was a teenager discovering girls but at 54 now, it still occasionally slips under my guard.

And when I say "slips", and why I'm posting here, below is a "disclaimer" that I added to my profile and left in place for nearly a year because I reached somewhere near your own level of frustration of fem/sub mail I was receiving. It's been gone awhile now, but the lesson has been rammed home stronger than ever....

A Net disclaimer of sorts - and the amateur shrinks may make of this what they will. Or just scroll directly to my profile half way down....

I would much prefer getting to know a prospective sub through r/l contact but the Net is unfortunately the best medium available where I live. However, based on personal experience, a few reasons why I loathe the Net.

1. First and foremost: I will NOT reply to unsolicited mail from strangers who attempt to draw me off site! You found me here; you can write to me here - simple!!!

2. I post my full profile reluctantly because experience has taught me that the more "cold" information one initially offers, the more room for assumption, misunderstanding and misinterpretation to abound! But it's still my profile and my right to post it! I've found there is nothing more futile in this lifestyle than living up to pre-conceived notions of what a Dom is from fem/subs who really don't know me nor have the patience or inclination to give a stranger a fair go. I've been too assertive, even overbearing to some fem/subs and seemingly not dominant at all to others without ever being anyone but *me*!

3. If I contact you first, it's because there's something about you (or your profile) that interests me *beyond* your just being female, submissive and with a heartbeat.

4. No matter who makes first contact, I SUCK AT ONE WAY CONVERSATIONS - I'm happy to lead by example but you also need to talk to me; that's what conversation and communication is! I understand many subs are shy but if I'm left in a position of constantly having to read a stranger's mind, as has happened all too often in the past, I'll soon tire of talking to you. I don't look for success or failure in the goals and tasks I set for my girl, I look for effort and endeavour. So you can be quiet and shy and maybe even believe you're not much of a conversationalist etc, but at least *try* and talk with me, too!

5. I *never* write "kneel bitch" geek mail nor am I consciously rude and obnoxious. Nor will I make pretentions of speaking in poetically whimsical, flowery and overly fantacised terminologies in order to pique your submissive romantasies (new word - patent pending). I'm a practical, straight talking, hard-nosed realist, which is tempered with manners and sincerity (and huge sense of humour). Accept it or 'X' outa here....

6. It's important to me that a potential partner is someone I "connect" with. Again, experience has taught me that connecting through email exchange happens more readily than what r/l can measure up to. Therefore, no matter what sinergy there is between us during mailing, I won't truly be convinced until I experience it via r/l contact.

7. Lastly - and a pet *hate*! Much is spoken by fem/subs on D/s Forums of rude and obnoxious males/doms and how tiresome their behaviour (email) is - which I understand perfectly. But there's no doubt the fem/subs of this lifestyle can be just as ill-mannered and ignorant in their own way. If I contact you and you're really not interested in myself, please have the manners and good graces to write a simple "No thanx" reply and I'll not bother you again - it's two freakin' words for cryin' out loud!

Yep, this is all rather lengthy but one of the rare advantages of being a hetero male/Dom accessing the Net is that fem/subs will generally take the time to read a profile.... <wink>

You said something similar in your OP; somewhere around the "kneel bitch" part, and that's just playing the same "rules" they're subjecting you to. You've actually taken a "genital or two" via email - so you've also kneeled when ordered to by some trash talking wanker-dom, as well?

If you don't like the "game", don't play it at all - controlling the things you can and wish to control.... It helps getting your mind back on track to what's important (to you) and you cease empowering strangers by giving them attention - even negative attention rates as attention.

About one thing she is certainly right.
She is a bitch.
She's made that perfectly clear to everyone here.  That is stupidest, most idiotic, most negative rant I've heard in quite some time.  In my opinion the OP really needs to grow up and improve her attitude.  I seriously doubt that with an attitude like that she "will have the luxury of picking the best of the best" as she said in her original post.  I also think 29 is a little old for that kind of immaturity.  I certainly hope no one here thinks all female submissives are like that.  ~shaking my head in wonder and amazement~
