To me, I guess I see it that only the body, an empty husk... a banana peel on the path of existence... is left behind to mourn... and the body wasn't why I paid attention to them in any case.

Paul Stanley.
He's the reason I'm a musician, and will always be my idol. Others have saddened me...Freddie Mercury, Ray Gillen. (Two of the greatest singers I've ever heard)

She may or may not be an icon--but to be an out lesbian muscian --well who cares about any of that--just she's a good musician and her lyrics usually are meaningful!

meh, john lennons solo stuff was pretty weak

I was always holding out hope that it was just a phase he was going through, a bit of a dry spell. I was kinda hoping he'd come out the other side of it with something interesting to say. I'm not sure how realistic that was, but it at least seemed possible. Fucking Chapman.

when Jack King Kirby died, for one who aspired then "did it for pay" like myself...

well, it was worse than what Stan the Man will be.
