Since we've seemed to have such an outbreak of them lately, which celebrity death would rock your world? For Me, it would be either Tom Hanks or John Travolta. Who would it be for you?

Seriously, none of them. There are only a few people walking this earth who's death either has, or would, knock me off kilter. Everyone else is just a "oh, well, damn" or "that sucks I am going to miss their music/movies/whatever" something like that. If I've met them, it may be a bit more of a "whoa, no way" or "sadly, I am not surprised". But still, no real emotional kapow.

Absolutely no celebrity death at all would rock my world. I admire and am entertained by many people but unless someone is known to me personally, their death is sad but not likely to really upset me.

Prince's death would cause this slave to mourn...can't think of any other celebrities this slave would feel that way about, though. his music has been a big part of the soundtrack of this slave's life...AND this slave would miss having the potential opportunity to see him perform...and that has been a fabulous treat, every time!

FR, after read thru I'll chime in on the Dalai Lama, as well as Thich Nhat Hanh. & my other choice is gonna be way wonky: Paul Krugman. I'll also be bummed when Noam Chomsky, Barbara Ehrenreich, & Michael Parenti pass . . . . . Shit, my political-geekiness is showing, lol . . . . .
