I have had a few minutes to read the whole thread list on this topic, and very different replies have been put forward.

My profile, I put in it what I feel was important, and what I was trying to achieve should ppl read it. it is set up to try to filter the stupid survey/role players/fakes/hng's with stolen pics - etc etc etc.

It seems to work most times, but then again it is My choice as to what i place in it, the real test is when you have slaves come chat and be real, newbee's or trained, they are real and it is such a refreshing change fomr scraping the crap off my boots from the players that used to role in.

So, whatever you post in your profile, that is your choice, if the "girl" wants to bitch instantly about "trust me" or "why do i have to do that" then i know instantly its a fakeout and blocked...

LOL. this isn't just what Male Doms do, seen the same with male subs,Female Doms and every other combo in btween.

I personally prefer that people take the time and effort to fill out their profile..especially if it says something like "I hate filling these out, but going to anyways" because that shows their willing to put their best foot forward. That being said......I am not going to not get to know someone if they have nothing in their profile, or a pic.

I also participate regularly (or as much as I can.) in my local community events, meet people and have fun.

What's rude and annoying is whiners who come on here complaining about others on the profile side who they feel have wronged them in some small, idiotic way.

Grow the fuck up and get over it.

DesFip, thanks for replying. The "answer" I've come up with lately, or one of them, is: "Pretend you are a car salesman and you are trying to talk me into buying your model".

That is, basically, what this is about if we are "searching" and I assume these people are searching or they would not have written me.

How often do we see an advertisement in a newspaper that gives a contact number and nothing else? It doesn't say what they have for sale, how old it is, what its track record is, why its better than the competition, etc.

All correspondence is revealing. Just as those who responded here with rude comments (of which yours happily was not among the rude ones, thank you) give information about the sender.

When I receive a sales pitch with no information about whats for sale more and more I just pitch it in the trash.

But you know what, a few days later I usually see some question from a "dom" wanting to know why they never get responses to their letters.

And that, if you think about it, is fukkin funny ain't it?

I can't tell you why anyone else does it, but I can tell you why I do. I am not looking for anyone, I am here for the forums. I have found if I leave my profile blank, I get less bs emails, so I leave it blank. If I want to meet someone, I go to munches or parties. If someone has a problem with that, it is their problem, not mine.

If this is really that annoying to you, maybe you should take Reds suggestion and step away from the computer. It is not healthy to let a random words on a computer screen get you that upset. Or in this case a lack of random words.

Congress (at least allegedly) has some responsibility to me and my life. Men who write profiles are not accountable to you in any way, unless you are one of the support volunteers of the site. Further, $100 a week will have an affect on my life. Encountering an empty profile will not.

Do you really think my having to pay an extra hundred bucks a week is equal to your exercising an option to "read" a profile with no words in it? If so, then, yes, I really do think you would benefit by spending time away from your computer.

Rainfire..... I consider myself to be fairly intuitive and interested in people but frankly if someone is arrogant enough to think that his minimalist profiles beckons me to kneel at his feet then he really isn't worth my time.

I'm not here to try to read between invisible lines. I guess I was just curious (and yes annoyed) at the mindset of someone who would write wanting MORE from me when they have given NOTHING.

Doesn't sound like dom material (or even friend material) to me.

SirMike, I am glad you are not here to SPOONFEED me what I want. Which is a real person (master, friend, whatever) and not someone like you. YES, the world is comprised of winners and losers.
