ok...i can't argue that...[:)]

intenze -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:29:03 AM)

How do you all know Mod XI is a "she"?

GreedyTop -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:32:03 AM)

because her profile says she's a she.  Now granted, there are plenty of profiles that people set up as opposite gender, but until/unless there's reason to think otherwise, we're goin with XI is a she ;)

*waves hi at XI and VAA(whose profile also says she's a she)*

intenze -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:35:20 AM)

[sm=doh.gif]  sometimes I am so thick! Thank you Greedy!

Rainfire -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:38:01 AM)

Heyas, intenze, it could also be that it's still early in some parts of the world.... personally, I'm still working on my morning tea and trying to get the brain going. [:)]

(shup, holly, no comments from the peanut gallery needed!)

purepleasure -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:40:27 AM)

I [sm=hearts.gif] the Mods here.

But then, I've never had one of those gold bordered cmails that I've heard about, either.

GreedyTop -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:41:52 AM)

*waves hi to Sixteen too, even though she hasnt posted here that I've seen*

Intenze: [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Edit to add: I've gotten quite a few, pure.. and while I don't always agree with the spanks I've gotten, I also recognize that being a mod can be quite a daunting ad thankless task..

and I DO try not to make it worse..  (I think I've broken a personal record.. it's been more than 2 months I think since my last spank..lol)

purepleasure -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:48:12 AM)

just a thought to ponder....

does anyone think a Mod has had to spank thier original screen name?

I mean... say if ModXI was originally Domiguy?

I'll wait for you to stop laughing.

beargonewild -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:50:47 AM)

I've always wondered if the Mods have a secondary account to post on the forums as themselves and not as a moderator?

purepleasure -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:53:08 AM)

How would they have become Moderators unless they've "proven" themselves.... well, to NOT be like erm... some, of us.

Unless a site owner, could they have just waltzed or Cupid Shuffled in as a Mod?

beargonewild -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:56:47 AM)

I guess that depends on the site owner or manager?  With yahoo groups, it's the group creator who can assign who they want as a moderator.

GreedyTop -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 7:59:46 AM)

hey, *I* am a mod..

ok, not HERE, but on Junacas....

of course, theres nothing for me TO mod, but still..... LOL

ienigma777 -> RE: moderators (7/9/2009 11:14:42 AM)

YUP...I had an accident one winter, A Thousand wheeler fully loaded flatbed semi, speeding along the highway, on black ice, catching cars and trucks, vans in the backdraft and when breaking away, spinning them off the road, into the ditch, or leaving the vehicle sideways and smash-o. So, after settling up with the other driver...I go to the police station and file the accident report...I get fined, for not having my vehicle under control.

Yes, you can get arrested for filing a report.

So, here is this guy, who sees his next door neighbor's house being broken into. He calls the police, the culprit is caught and arrested. The good samaritain gives a police report, the police run a check on the 'guy,' seems about 20 years piror, he was serving a sentence for some felony, escaped and left the state, so the police came back and arrested him, he was charged, and extradited to the state he escaped from.

This good samaritan, lead an exemplimary life, married, had children, owned a thriving business, home, never had even a parking violation...a totally new life....ruined. True, true, true.

Live and learn my friend. No good deed ever goes unpunished.

This is a free site, the moderators are free to exercise their powers in any way they choose, right or wrong, baised or unbaised......either accept it, or don't post.

When someone has a vacation they go to a tropical island where little cabana boys bring you alcohol.
They don't go to the farm.

Then you've never been to a farm like mine.........

Funny Farm ?

Is that anything like the Bunny Ranch???

jeeeez guys... give me a friggin break.
From my message where the F do you get off telling me deal or leave?
now I am pissy.

deal with that.  [sm=dancing.gif]

Dear Real Sub 58,

Having interacted for a good long time with the people who wrote you (on here and by phone), I would say that they gave you very good information.  You put some kind of negative spin on it.  They did not.  "This is how this particular site works.  If it bothers you so much that you can't or don't want to handle that, that's cool.  You always have the personal choice to leave."  Same message, more words.  I rather liked their succintness.

Having worked at jobs where I had to tell people really ugly, life devastating things, I can tell you that information is just information.  People can say anything in a neutral way.  How the person hears it is about them.  You've told us quite a lot about you in this thread.  *By the way, that was not said in a negative tone.  It was more like a "hmmm, that's interesting, hmmm."

Well wishes,
sunny
