Could i? yes

Would i? no way in hell.

Sorry *grin*

I am not that selfless and I don't share well. Should he require such a thing, he would be doing it without me. I must say that I am amazed by so many who would and have done so and happily. Not ashamed that I am a selfish piglet, but amazed nonetheless. Fortunately, it's not an issue for me.

It has been part of my own training, to eventually be in a position to help train someone else. A year ago i would not have been able to. Of course i also used to consider training but secretly leaving something out - you know like when you give your own wonderful and favorite recipe away? You always leave out a key spice so no one's is ever as good as yours (okay i don't really do that, LOL). But now i feel differently. And i really DO give the complete recipes out, too. [;)]

ownedgirlie,

i understand that you're saying training another is part of the relationship dynamic you have - that works for you so it is good. i don't share that way and so am not involved in such an arrangement. i don't think of it as a matter of being jealous or insecure, it is just not what i want for myself.

When i think of the time involved, i'm not sure how it could be managed. his work, my work, his kids, my kids, his dogs, my dog - geez - we have a standing going away together once a month appointment so that we can have three uninterrupted days together with no work, no phone, no offspring, or other distractions and interruptions. he's a high maintainence kind of guy, but then, i am a high maintainence kind of girl as well.

how do you manage to find time to train someone else in the midst of the day-to-day duties and activities of life?

Between his busy life and my busy life, i would imagine if i ran into scheduling issues, he would prioritize them.
