Would/could you train someone else to serve your Dom/me, if you were ever placed in the position to do so?...

I would begin by simple instruction with those things he requires. How to make his coffee, fold his socks, what foods he likes to eat etc. I would also instruct them on his medical needs, how to care for them, where and when to get his medication, when his dosages are due. Everything which is of use or service to him for his health and well-being. If they took to that, I'd move on to those things which please him sexually or sensually or just his kinks. What he prefers to be called in scene and out of scene, what he expects.. I'd teach them all about the toys, what they are called and how they are used. If Himself desired, I'd do positions with them, his preferred ones and those which he doesn't really care about. I'd take a complete history of their medical issues and present that to Himself so he would know what areas he can't cross and where he can go. It's a process, and I'd go slowly, building up in time till they were able to serve him in the way he desires.

Oh well, I guess I misread it too.

I would first clarify with him exactly what specifically he would like them trained in and then I would show them the ways that I have come to know over the course of my experience with him that he preferes to have things done.

I think the problem is that the actual subject says "would you" and she adds the "How" in the post itself.

And ditto- figure out what things training needs to be done and then go about teaching them, by practice, tutoring, showing example and various other teaching methods.

I am a dom but this situation has come up in my household.

I consider it part of my job to train slaves to my own desires and needs however Fox (and before him Faith and Anna) have helped me train and have taken on minor aspects of training under my guidence and direction.

If I had a girl in a personal collar and she was sufficiently advanced in her training, the chances is that she would be rated as the fg or First Girl. As such she would be expected to train other slaves. her authority would extend to punishment and when there were no Gorean Frees present she would be called by other slaves, Mistress. A training manual would be provided so she trained others as she was trained.

I have done so, when I was a servant to House Bladewing. I found it to be one more expression of depth of service and committment to train others to serve with grace and dedication, in the same way that I had been trained -- with care, and with a respect for my dignity as a human being, and with strict discipline and attention to the details of service that would make the difference between me being a mediocre servant and being an -outstanding- servant. I would no more have shorted the training of one of the new House servants than I would have given shoddy service myself.

I have great respect for all of those who said they could do this. However, I'm so releived that my Master wants only me and would never consider taking on another.

W/we are considering taking a sub into protection in the local scene because her Dom is far away. I'm ok with this because Master won't be "using" her and she'll just learn from U/us. It's a big boost for me to know that Master thinks I'm far enough along to be of help to her.
