Of course if it were a selection of dark chocolate truffles, you might get somewhere. Some of us quite enjoy our dark chocolate.

If it came accompanied with a nice new book by Mary Roach and some vanilla bath salts, we might have something going here.

No. Most Dommes are made in China and are not the genuine article. If you look under their 6" heel, you will see the little sticker right there "Made in China, all man made materials". Washing instructions for non-genuine dommes can usually be found inside their all too tight faux leather skirt. It is also not recommended to use alkaline batteries in them.

Genuine Dommes come with a Certificate of Authenticity and are usually signed and numbered.

I think most people here are like most people in real life. You have your good and bad, your honest and dishonest and even in real life you typically have to meet a lot of the wrong people before you find the right person. As far as genuine goes. I'm not sure how I define it. Just because I don't think someone is genuine doesn't mean that I am right. And Lord knows almost everytime I turn down a sub online I get called a fake. Who knows, mabye according to their definition I am fake...at least to them. It makes me no less geunine in my own mind or in the minds of those who know me.

Maybe they changed their minds and figured you would not be a good match? Would they have met you, it might have been a waste of your time and their time and your feelings might have been hurt even more.

On the other hand, it could be that they were just playing a game, who knows? As people pointed out, online you never know who you are talking to and a kinky site is not different in that respect than a vanilla site.
