I personally worked very hard on my profile and have received so many responses that don't meet the criteria i have specified (which is very specific), that i don't think a reply is always necessary, especially when the message is an arrogant one. i do, however, often use the autoreply feature out of courtesy. it amazes me the amount of married men that contact me when i specifically request that i not be contacted by married men. i don't believe that deserves a response. Oh, and by the way, i read every profile that is sent to me, many messages come with no profile and no picture, but a demand that the message be answered IMMEDIATELY. Bullshit. i've been in the lifestyle too long, i suppose i am jaded.

um good at what? LOL

i love the words "real" "genuine" "good" etc. i am sure for someone i am all those those things but all those things are in the eyes of the beholder. i am a sub, i could be a slave given the right set of circumstances, but as far as writing to profiles are concerned i am meticulas about going thru them and following all the requests made of me.

Status: offline 		i never attended high school, but have an associates degree in Data Entry and Word Processing, a Certificate of Completion in Private Armed Security from a Vo-Tech and have recently passed the H&RBlock tax course. so, i supposed i can attest to the three "R"s...LOL

I agree completely. I have had similar experiences. I spent a great deal of time and effort trying to respond specifically to a Domme's profile. Often that Profile instructs subs to 'entertain' or 'amuse' or be grammatically perfect. Then, no response.

I have developed the habit now of simply ignoring the dommes who put these type of demands in their Profiles. I figure they are either poseurs or not the type of person I want to be around anyway.

I prefer a simple, brief introductory email now.

yeh i laugh at the ones who want to be amused too! or the petty grammar and spelling fanatics LOL

Like the most important thing in my life is supposed to be grammar.

i have met some of these people and they usually have a nice basket of other issues to go along with that one!!

So i agree 500% with NEXT!!!
