Ladies , another savagely wet day in Dublin. Wish i could transport our cloud and rain across the Atlantic where it belongs laughs. Anyway in the midst of one monsoon shower today i met a Domme on a walk. i knew She was Domme because of Her attire and Her demeanour towards a male companion She was walking with. i overheard the conversation and it was very clear that She was wearing the trousers in the relationship. Anyway i bumped into Her said Hello, She said Hello back asked me How i was doing i said fine , i asked Her how She was doing and when She smiled at me, i felt She might be interested in me. i then without hesitation said i was interested in Her and asked Her for Her phone number. Whereupon She arose from sitting on the wall and walked off. No response , no How dare You, slap in the face etc, just plain and simple walk away as if i did not exist and no explanation either. Ladies, have i really gone wrong here? i mean She gave me the hint that She found me interesting then poof She disappeared when i took a step to indicate i was interested in Her. i suppose what i want to know is Would You be impressed with a sub who asked You for Your phone number if You found him interesting? Does it show commitment? Or would You like this Lady just vanish from the sub's sight. i suppose what i am asking is this Is asking for a Domme 's phone number a good chat up line or too forward and undesirable kevin

No, I would not appriciate it if someone that I had just met asked me for my phone number. A better option is to offer yours, especially if you have it on a business card. That way she can decide whether or not she wishes to call you.

Dude, a couple of things....with your ability to ferret out Dommes, the woman probably wasn't......and she was with someone....in a relationship, your own words! And a greeting and smile do not necessarily indicate interest, it just means she's polite. And if you haven't gotten the idea, the women here think that you're just plain wierd, I think you're downright creepy, so any woman you appraoch in person has to have the same gut reaction. Yeah, I've given out a phone number once or twice in my life......but considering that I work for police departments, most people get the hint when they call and hear someone answer the phone with the words "Police Department". And then there's Dial-a-Prayer....cuz that's the chance they have with me!

You didn't even introduce yourself? Also, you never talked about anything (vanilla interests, where she is from, and etc..). Just because she shows interest does not mean it's a sealed deal; you need to establish and maintain a good impression on her. In addition, it doesn't matter if she is a domme or a regular women you should almost never ask a women for a phone number right away. At least in the first 10 minutes of conversing.

Gift, great response, unfortunately, it's totally wasted. Look around at Kevin's other postings, you'll see what I mean......this guy thinks any/every woman is a Domme.....that's why the rest of the answers here are written with the tone that they are.....
