First off, I personally wouldn't put any money on it working, nor would I wait 7 years for someone, but then I admit I am selfish. Second of all, If someone wanted time off from dating me because of what other people said to him, it'd be a huge red flag for me. personally. Any man I would want to be with would need to be secure enough to ignore what "every one" is saying and come talk to me personally to shut up, and quit trying to tank our relationship, because we have more trust in each other than that, and that if they continue to nay say about the women I am dating, they wil have to make a descion, do they want to be a friend or do they want to continue to try to tank and riddle my relationships with doubts. I was just using putting money on it, as a phrase didn't mean it literally, like the phrase I wouldn't bet on it, or don't put all your eggs in one basket. That just like telling a non kink couple to cease having an intimate sex life until their offspring are moved out.

Having read what you both wrote, enjoy, dont over analyse, things work themselves out. Oh and have fun. As to the kids, they rarely hear anything more than they would if you were a vanila couple. A gag can help anyway. lol
