A subject of great fascination to me right now. I still don't know whether I'd be an endurer or an enjoyer. Blast. There might be painsluts everywhere - they just don't know that they are, yet!

I personally believe that my non-masochism makes me a better sub. I've never understood how a top of any kind can actually inflict pain - True Pain - on someone that's enjoying it. The few times I've been in a d/s situation, I haven't liked the pain, but I've pushed myself as far as I could go, and I think I came out better. More importantly, she was pleased I didn't try to impress her by not using safe words. I can tolerate it - but I think that pain is something to be taken in, not enjoyed, then used as fuel for growth.

I never hit anyone who didn't enjoy it, want it or at least ask for it. I must admit that I have often wondered who actually enjoyed it, who simply needed it and who ground their teeth and endured it for my pleasure. Ok... I know Wall-e handed me those bundled canes, which I knew he hated, and then I gleefully applied it simply because I knew I had pushed him beyond his breaking point and the feeling was intoxicating. With West, it was always hard to tell because he was so proud to be my tank and enjoyed having me brag about his ability to take whatever I threw at him. Did he really do that because he enjoyed the pain or because he enjoyed the praise? I don't know, he never said. The new guy is proud and doesn't want to call a safe word even though he has not had the time to build up a tolerance yet. But that's ok, with repeated visits, he'll be a tank before long.

as my M'Lady will tell i have become quite the masso sub since She collared me 2 years ago. sadly I'm serving in Afghanistan till Jan. so no help there I'm afraid. keep looking as there will always be more to turn into pain sluts.

Yes the whole PROXIMITY thing is the real issue. I know plenty of pain sluts, but how many LOCAL and unattached ones? (whose SCHEDULES match, GAH!)
