Where? Where? [:D] The first time I took my (mostly) vanilla husband into the dungeon at Frolicon - our first 'public play' experience together - even he was grossing about people just limp wristedly flopping floggers on subs. Even HE said "Hand ME that thing! I'll show you how to HIT someone." I can't tell you how much this tickled me. This past year was FAR different. Even I was cringing over some of the bloodied subs I saw in there... but they were all Female. There might have been things going on that I did not see, but I only saw ONE male sub getting some interesting CBT and ONE who at least turned pink from his flogging by a FemDom. I seem to be able to find male subs who are happy to play in private but who shy away from public play as they do not want to be viewed as "Weak". eyeroll I keep telling them that it takes a hell of a lot more inner strength to TAKE a beating than to administer one.

I am beginning to appreciate, as I practice, how much room it takes to really swing a flogger properly. I often hit lighter because thanks to space considerations a full swing is impossible. It's at least partly why I'm interested in canes. (sigh) It's always something.

I made myself a set of matching floggers. Two 'normal' one and one extra long one. The long one is basically just a wall decoration or a prop for photos. It's totally non-functional. There is no room inside to swing it. Actually, at least one of the more experienced leather people mentioned that very long tails on a flogger do not pack the punch of a shorter one because the length of falls "absorbs the energy". Yo! I fall in the same boat as other folks here. I do not want to say I am a heavy or light masochist because I do not want to disappoint. What I will say is that I can endure a flogging for about thirty minutes... or many whacks to the back with a bamboo training sword. I just can't do CBT very well. It brings me to a nice level of headspace and I just want to cuddle my 'abuser'. Begging for it is hawt too.

Lady Pact I am not asking anyone to think that is impressive. I have no need to. I am new to this thing. That was all I was given before the flogging stopped.
