The truth is a lot simpler: Anybody can get laid any time he or she wants to. All it takes, for man or woman, is being unselective. No matter how unattractive you are by conventional standards, there's somebody out there horny enough, or lonely enough, or indifferent enough to want you. It is true, by and large, women tend to be more selective than men, so a woman who is unselective will have a lot of choices, but a man would too. Nobody can have sex 24 hours a day, so the difference doesn't mean a lot.
That has always been true, but the rise of the Internet has made it even easier for those desiring to "hook up". Craigslist, online chat rooms, personals sites etc have made it really easy for someone who is unselective to find someone else who is unselective. In real life though, most people don't want to have sex with just anyone. At a minimum, they want someone they find somewhat attractive, someone they trust not to do physical or emotional harm, someone they expect to be able to provide an enjoyable and erotic experience. Those who are reading this on CM presumably have specific bdsm-related interests, so it will be important to us to find someone who shares those interests, in a general sort of way at least, hopefully in more specific ways.
