In this case in particular, made of Democrats - so yes, "corrupt Dem machine" (while you may not like it) certainly is an acceptable descriptive phrase for this particular event. It's not a perception problem on my part, in not attacking willbur when I see him post. He tends to sometimes be short in his posts, and sometimes gets involved in the tit-for-tat, but I see him vilified for almost anything he posts, and absolutely nothing but snide and snarky remarks from some on "your side" who would rather trash his reputation and engage in ad hominen attacks rather than attempt to engage him productively. He seems to hold up well, and I think that just enrages some even more. As well, there is always a large posse from the left who is willing to engage and dispute anything he says, which kind of makes any comments to dispute or clarify anything he may say from "the right" like piling on. Not necessary, nor productive. On the other hand, when people such as Mars post ... the piling on is usually in congratulation in how perceptive he is. Most of the "right" posters pretty much ignore him, on the concept that his words of hatred speak more about him than they do about Republicans he so dearly loves to hate. Firm

There is no question that on this site and every other political board Ive seen, the liberals think that facts can be arbited by majority rule, so "piling on" is de rigeur when they cant attack substance.
