What is the difference ? When A Dom has both ,What do u do if he cares more about one than the other ?????

There is no difference. It's two percieved rolls by which the Dom exerts his controll over two other people, eg, S-types.

Do some research before starting random threads, this has been talked about to death.....

the point is....S-types give up controll, D-types take controll. Thats all it is.

No how every ONE person lives thier lives, s-type or not, is how THEY do it, not how EVERYONE should do it.

from this slave's perspective, submissive is something that you just are in reaction to the world around you or something you choose to be...slave is a condition of being abjectly subservient to a specified person or influence.

A submissive retains some control, a slave does not.
Of course, this is only zaphira's thoughts on the words, others will differ.

If Master were to one day have another in service to him, zaphira would go on with her days as she had previously. It is not zaphira's place to 'do anything' about it. If Master wishes for another, zaphira would wish for the same. His happiness in life is what makes zaphira happy.

TO actually answer, because I have way too much time on my hands.

The difference depends on the individual, for many it is just a label for some a hierarchy depends who you ask really.

If I am in a poly relationship it would depend on the parameters we all agreed to. I don't really know how to elaborate further, I mean how do you know he cares for one more than the other? How long has there been two? Is it meant to be an 'equal' relationship?

i have a hard time keeping them straight.

The last time i confused the two the manager of Subway asked me to leave. It was then i realized rubbing the ham/cheese/rye on my ass was not going to help that pesky rash. 'Course, it soon became apparent that the nasty taste in my mouth was from BenGay.

in a way there is a world of difference. a submissive (tends to be, but isnt always - note the 'hedging) someone who is 'freer' with their opinions, thoughts, ideas and feelings. generally they have more input, some choices and i spose, up to a point the exchange between Master and sub can be more open.

a slave (tends to be, but isnt always..lol

) someone who does not have so much freedom. they tend to be more geared toward their Masters needs and are there to serve in all and every capacity without murmur or dissent because to question or rise above their position would challenge their dynamic too dramatically.

but then its down to each individual and their relationship and - i guess, the emotional and reciprocal content.

it is hard in a poly situation not to feel jealousy at times and to feel that one is getting more than another. ive tried poly and it didnt work for me, largely for that reason, though there were other reasons too.

i would offer the suggestion that you look at what you have with youre Master and value those times and things you share. there must be specific moments in the day when his concentration on you makes you fulfilled and happy or you would not still be there. focus on those.

Because if he has one of each and you are the one he cares less about, you may not be getting your needs met. At which point you ought to care that the other one gets all the time and attention and you get only the crumbs.

I mean really....does it even really matter? The only thing matters is if the dom's needs are met and the sub/slave's needs are met and the relationship is healthy for them both. Hell, my dom can call me joe blow from Idaho and the only importance is the commitment we have between us.
