Do you ever hear a song on the radio and it makes your day. My music likes varies a lot but when ever I hear Cascada "Everytime We Touch" it just gets my blood pumping and I just want to get up and dance..

What's your song?......... [:)]

Yesterday....."Thunder Road". Brings back lots of good memories.
There are many other songs of course, but that is the freshest memory for me.

'Born to be wild'. I have no singing voice, but that one I'll belt out in the privacy of the car whenever it's playing.

Un, no offense, Truble, but with your octive range and what you think is the privacy of your car isn't working so well: We're hearing you 1200 miles away.

My theme song.

Nine Inch Nails Lyrics

Closer (To God) Lyrics

you let me violate you,
you let me desecrate you
you let me penetrate you,
you let me complicate you

help me I broke apart my insides,
help me i've got no soul to sell
help me the only thing that works for me,
help me get away from myself

I want to fuck you like an animal
I want to feel you from the inside
I want to fuck you like an animal

my whole existence is flawed
you get me closer to god

you can have my isolation,
you can have the hate that it brings
you can have my absence of faith,
you can have my everything

help me tear down my reason,
help me its' your sex I can smell
help me you make me perfect,
help me become somebody else

I want to fuck you like an animal
I want to feel you from the inside
I want to fuck you like an animal

my whole existence is flawed
you get me closer to god

through every forest, above the trees
within my stomach, scraped off my knees
I drink the honey inside your hive
you are the reason I stay alive

(laughing) Sure, Katy, that hard rock beat, the sound of roaring engines, moonshine, young dead on the back roads… Yep, those are the very memories fond sentiments are made of.

fergus -> RE: that song you love (2/19/2006 8:32:27 PM)

They don't play the songs I like on the radio ;)

But today, I feel like this one as a favorite:

Raglan Road

On Raglan Road on an Autumn Day,
I saw her first and knew
That her dark hair would weave a snare
That I may one day rue.
I saw the danger, yet I walked
Along the enchanted way
And I said let grief be a falling leaf
At the dawning of the day.

On Grafton Street in November,
We tripped lightly along the ledge
Of a deep ravine where can be seen
The words of passions pledged.
The Queen of Hearts still baking tarts
And I’m not making hay,
Well I loved too much; by such and such
Is happiness thrown away.

I gave her the gifts of the mind.
I gave her the secret sign
That's known to all the artists who have
Known true Gods of Sound and Time.
With word and tint I did not stint.
I gave her reams of poems to say
With her own dark hair and her own name there
Like the clouds over fields of May.

On a quiet street where old ghosts meet,
I see her walking now,
Away from me, so hurriedly. My reason must allow,
For I have wooed, not as I should
A creature made of clay.
When the angel woos the clay, he'll lose
His wings at the dawn of the day.

Petruchio - perhaps you had to be there, somewhere in the 80's. A group of us singing that song that a wedding reception.

Roy Orbison singing for the lonely
Hey that's me and I want you only
Don't turn me home again
I just can't face myself alone again

So you're scared and you're thinking
That maybe we ain't that young anymore
Show a little faith there's magic in the night

yep, it still makes me smile

my current favorite is "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood (sort of goes to my current state of mind) [;)]

Right now he's probably slow dancing with a bleached-blond tramp,
and she's probably getting frisky... right now,
he's probably buying her some fruity little drink cause she can't shoot whiskey...

Right now, he's probably up behind her with a pool-stick,
showing her how to shoot a combo...

And he don't know...

That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little suped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seat...
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires...

And maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

Right now, she's probably up singing some
white-trash version of Shania karoke..
Right now, she's probably saying "I'm drunk"
and he's a thinking that he's gonna lucky,
Right now, he's probably dabbing 3 dollars worth of that bathroom Polo...
And he don't know...

That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little suped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seat,
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires...

And maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

I might saved a little trouble for the next girl,
Cause the next time that he cheats...

Oh, you know it won't be on me!

Ohh... not on me...
Cause I dug my key into the side of his pretty little suped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seat...
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires...

Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

Ohh.. Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats...

Ohh... before he cheats...

ROFLMAO... (ok you have to hear the music with it to get the full impact) it's upbeat

My mind is constantly spinning some tune...it's like I have an ipod inside my head playing not so random songs. I only wish I knew what the triggers were that starts a track....
right now it's Everlast, chorus from "seven years".... "Lord won't you please being my baby back...bring my baby back home"...

Have no idea where it came from, but it'll go around and around until the next trigger starts another track from the archive.
