The dress was 220 the coreset bra was 48 the slip was like 58 all in all it came out to like three hundred and twenty dollars, and I thought about asking for 200 for it. which is you consider the basic at the mall was 400 well we were ahead of thegame I think that's probably a bit unrealistic an asking price. The dress is also a couple years out of style at this point, something a lot of teenage girls care about. Consignment shops typically take half of whatever they sell the dress for, and will only set it at a price that they think they will sell it for. In general, they won't price it for more than 1/2 of the original cost, if it's "in style" still. If it's not, or it's an awkward size or a not-so-popular color, then they price it much less than 1/2 price. Keep in mind - people who shop consignment stores are looking for deep bargains. My mother spent $600 on her mother-of-the-bride outfit for my sister's wedding; she passed it on to me to sell at a consignment shop that I worked at for her about a month after the wedding. The shop sold it for $200; I got $100 when it was all said and done.
