All known that men pay pro dommes/Mistresses for "services" at Dungeons or otherwise...however would or do women pay pro Doms/Subs/Masters/Mistresses for services or is it just presumed guys are out there who would gladly submit or perform for free so why pay...?

Yep, that is what I thought. Why pay for something you can get for free...! LOL

Guess that is why you don't see many Pro Masters or Pro Male Slaves.

If a pro male submissive had a finely equipped dungeon, a fantastic reputation as a responsive, engaging and intuitive male sub and looked like johnny depp with the body of a professional swimmer - hell yeah, I'd pay. But he'd have to have all that - and more.

I've actually paid a pro male sub before in a dungeon. It was well worth it and I would do it again. I have many men at my disposal to top, including my husband. Sometimes, though, I have an urge for variety. I knew a man that was paid by women... for many different services. Yes it happens... but how often? How much they make... I don't know. I do know he was working in another field when I last spoke to him and it wasn't something great... so this good looking, personalble and talented in certain services man... (smile) couldn't make a steady living at it, where he was located... I have to say that it might be pushing to say that women equal men or even come close to spending what men spend in obtaining services. lol

Desperation determines the availability of denero. Women aren't desperate to the point of 'paying to get relief' and men are more than willing to do a deed. (shrug)

I'm going to go out on a wild limb with a speculation. But at least in my experience, the reasons men and women pay and don't are more complicated than "women can get it." I find that statement ridiculous since, if it were so easy for women to get what they want, why do I see SO many women here searching for something.

In really broad brush strokes, men and women want different things and the things men want are way more suitable for packaging up into a nice tidy little hour long bundle for pay. It's easy to see how you can buy a blow job or a spanking or whatever. It's a lot harder to see how you could buy a relationship, even if you had a willing seller and a buyer with tons of money.

I wouldn't either. Which is the real tip-off that this is not a men/women thing. The reason I wouldn't "pay" is because the thing that I want cannot be bought with money. If it could, you can bet your last dollar that I'd pay for it. If finding a lifelong love affair was as simple as forking over some cash... even a LOT of cash, I'd be SOO there.

But can you always get it for free - guaranteed?

And what about couples who 'sponsor' female submissives, or others who sponsor others?

I don't see this as a gender thing, in fact I don't see how you can make any sort of generalization, as there are exceptions out there.

The thing is there are male escorts out there, and not all of them are gay.

Men and women are different. Yup. Different.

In general (and anything said here must be also opinion) ... women can get all they want from men ... we men ... well, we need those women ... so we give 'em what they want.

We're wired that way, whether it be food, clothing, housing, companionship, a car, a boat, whatever.

Women give something else for what they want - but it isn't money! (guess what it is on your own ... :) )

I don't give it up for what I might get out of it. I give it up to someone who impress's me with who they are. Belittling women down to users is about as smart as saying women can have all or anything that they want. Many women have as much of a hard time finding what they want as men do. Because we often want different things... it kind of reasons out that there might be a problem with us all getting what we want. But... there is hope, when we find someone impressive of either sex.

Not all men want just sex and not all women take advantage of men because they want sex. Okay... once in a while I might take advantage of a lover that wants sex and I make him play to my tune... but that is a far different story. lol

I agree with Jeff - a lot of women *don't* get all of the sex and/or BDSM they want, but are still much less likely to be willing to pay for it than men are. Part of it is wanting the relationship and emotional connection, not just the sexual acts, part of it is wrapped up in self-esteem and social/cultural conditioning. Sure, there are some men who won't pay for it either, and a few women who will/do, but in general, it's pretty rare for women to pay for it even if they *can't* get it for free. Plus, what a lot of guys are offering for free isn't what a lot of women want anyway, which is part of why there's so much angst here about finding a partner. [;)]

Pompeii, I don't "give sex for what I want," I consider sex to be something mutual with someone I love and care about, and who feels that way about me. I can't see any point in fucking someone who isn't any more interested in being my boyfriend than my gay friends are, so I can't just "get what I want for free." I've done some casual play before, but I specifically avoid having it get sexual unless it's someone I'm dating and hope to get more serious with.

I know a few pro Doms but they tend to get mainly gay guys.
I also know a very beautiful Mistress that pays a pro Dominant to take her to that journey on the other side now and again.

I've never seen the reasoning behind paying for sex/bdsm/d/s/kink/fetish by anyone.

we live in a society that says men should want sex and woman should not, generally men will push up that sex drive to prove there men kinda thing, women will repress it, of corse there are exceptions but as a society it is an odd thing to hear of women paying for any sexual service, i see it definitely as a possibilty as societal gender lines are and will be crossed more and more into the future... unless like, we nuke ourselves or somethin...

Imo, bingo!  I have toyed with the idea of looking into a financial venture to obtain certain non-overtly-sexual sensations but the lack of a context, ummmm < me making an uncertain face at the screen here >.
