As was very aptly pointed out to me the other day in discussion on this very subject, a professional has a reputation to protect so, presumably safety, quality, etc. is important to them. I would think there would be far less likelihood of potential safety, quality, etc. from a 'random' off of the 'net.

The only male pro doms I know of service the gay community.

Straight women can always find an occasional play partner. However women prefer to have an emotional connection in their relationships, and that's not what you get with someone you pay to do you.

I would pay for a decent top. If I saw him in action and it looked like something I needed at the time. However, pro male tops are much harder to find than their female counterparts.

I'd pay a pro domme to teach me some techniques, same as I'd pay a chef to teach me pastry technique or candymaking.

And I can understand a bit why I might use a pro sub. I would not be paying him to let me do x and y. I would be paying him to be happy with that.

(Why, yes, I HAVE had a run of Other People's Drama in my life just now....)

I would pay a qualified person to teach me a skill or show me one of their skills if I wanted to know and they were reasonably priced yes.

I think a lot of pro Dommes are willing to teach a particular skill for a cost to another Domme but thats kind of different than a female going to them for a money exchange session.

I'll admit that I am a rarity in this case; the idea of playing with a partner non-emotionally connected is still erotic to me, so long as there's lust involved. But as I re-read this thread I think people should clarify that there's a difference between topping and dominating/being served. I am more ues to other web for posting but blive it or not there a fuw who clame to be Por Male Dom's most say you just have to know some one to get in to it, I don't ,keep in mind that is most one sayed he just fell in to it as he was a Rope Master and started to get payed for that

I guess when I used to play in the past the whole concept of safety and quality was not exactly at the top of my list...sex and having fun was.
....and you can really find that anywhere...online, a bar, run into a hot guy in the supermarket...pretty much anywhere.

I guess if you're looking for a specific skill in someone though I guess a pro would be the way to go.
