Huuuggggs Greedy! I just read the posts above me. Poor little furball. I think you are on the right track with the baby food. If not, the little one might take usalted gravy. That's the fat that is desperately needed and then work up to something more solid maybe, kinda like getting a person through a stomach bug. Anything solid maybe just be unbearably painful for the little one. Maybe help cuddle on your lap with a hot water bottle on the belly to help soothe it while getting her to eat whatever you can. I have nursed a few sick animals in my day and I know it's not easy. Hang in there sweetie! Hope she pulls through and is back to herself soon!

Gracious has now turned her nose up at ALL the varieties of canned food.

So has Amos...

not sure if I should be worried or not.

+When my cat moved in she wouldn't eat any canned food, only biscuits. I got onto 'Fussy Cats' which is kangaroo mince and she loved it, have you tried fresh pets mince. It now only costs me $5- a fortnight for the mince, compared to $12- for canned so is also much cheaper and healthier for her.

A question regarding catnip, do people buy it fresh or dried?? I would like to get some for Lolly-cat but can only find dried catnip. Thanks....

I have only been able to find dried catnip, too.  I have never found anyplace that sold it fresh.  I did find these instructions for growing your own catnip, but I don't think that's something I'll be doing.

Ok, this just happened and I'm cracking up!

I heard a commotion from the couch and MissSophia was going to town, going through the motions of sharpening her claws on a plastic lid/cover for the board I make jewelry on.  I looked over at her, she froze and looked back at me, and I said, "What are you doing???"  She looked at me like "I'm doing.....uh.....this......" and she started the claw-sharpening motions slowly, kept watching me to see if she was in trouble, then got faster and faster.....

Maybe you had to be here, but it was freaking hilarious....like a little kid!

I buy the dried catnip for mine.  I tried the fresh growing stuff from PetSmart and Petco, they didn't touch it.  If you want to get greens into them, grow some oat grass.....that's all the seeds are that are marketed in pet stores as "kitty greens".  It grows fast, and my cats love the stuff!

My kittehs love dried catnip......they eat it, then roll in it.....all high and stuff...their little pupils are dialated, and they run around like fools...add in a laser pointer, and you've got some great entertainment!!!!!

Gracious is continuing to snub most food (got her to eat a little tonight), and hanging out in the carrier.

I spoke to the vet today.. the blood work came back with some elevated enzyme(?) levels, indicating possibly kidney (or liver?) problems, possibly gall stones, cant rule out cancer.

Fucking ultrasound needs to be done.

If I disappear from the computer for a while it's because I'm skipping a few bills to pay for that.
