Angel was a very defiant girl last night, but she paid for it this morning. It was midnight and I realized that I hadn't taken out the trash. Angel streaked out past me when my arms were full from carrying trash bags. I ordered her back in, but she ignored me. At 1:00 A.M., I called her again, and she just looked at me defiantly, like "Oh yeah, wanna come out and catch me?" So I went to bed and left her outside. This morning her bothersome boyfriend was out on the porch with her keeping her company. She could not wait to come back in to escape from him. Hopefully she'll remember this next time, but I doubt it.

Angel said she wants her yard to herself! She wasn't outside but about 10 minutes and the bothersome boyfriend dropped by for a visit. On top of that, she now has a new orange and white friend who likes to come visit her. That kitty must be new to the neighborhood because I just started seeing it. It appears to be clean and well-cared for. I suspect it might live at the apartments next door because it darts under the fence in the direction of the apartments whenever I get too close. Angel doesn't like to stay outside long whenever one of these visitors comes by.

My kittehs are in a state right now....I'm packing to move, and taking furniture apart...THEIR furniture....and they are not happy. I have to keep checking boxes before I tss stuff in them because they hop in them as soon as I get them put together. They're going to be real pissed tomorrow, because they are going to get sutck in the carriers while I move. Poor Bit will probably fall out.....it was just this week that he got snipped. I'd set them outside in the grass, but the fleas here are a bitch, and I finally have them almost flea free. I got the generic of the Frontline stuff, and it is AWESOME! Squeaks is all healed as far as her gouges where she was scratching so bad, so I'm hoping her beautiful hair grows back in. KB is sitting here glaring at me..he thinks he's hungry again.....playing on my guilt or something. So, it's back to breaking things down...I've already packed the car to bursting, and pick up the truck at 0700. shudder TTFN!

Angel was happy tonight because she got to spend a few hours outdoors without any visits from her unwelcome friends. Then she came inside, knocked a folder off the dining room table onto the floor, and is now lying on top of the folder. Cats!

Pepper moved to my new flat yesterday and summer and urmel today[:)] our first night together, in our awesome freshly renovatef 2.5 bedroom flat[:)] Spicy and Curry will join us end of may here, at last [:)], cause as I'm off to Paris with my employer middle of may, there is no point to get them to here before my trip[:o]

Misty was using the litter box in my office. Angel apparently forgot I was home and was on her way in there to harass her. She likes to corner Misty while she's in the litter box and not let her out, for some ridiculous reason. Angel decided she had better make other plans when she saw me approaching with the water bottle, though. It's amazing, the effect the sight of that water bottle has on her decision making process.

Angel will be happy to know that gecko hunting season should be starting soon. I saw the first couple of the season climbing up the front of the house. I think she prefers hunting them over hunting snakes, thankfully.

My 2 are sleeping somewhere, waiting for the kids to get home, at which point Monica will come to me for attention and mittenz will start pouncing on her and making a nuisance of herself, its really weird, she behaves herself when the kids are out, as soon as they come home she becomes the devil incarnate!

The poor cats are absolutely traumatized by the events of the last two days. Yesterday, the water heater blew. Four rooms of the house were drenched. There was a strange man in their space (the plumber) until after 11:00 P.M. They were walking around gingerly on the wet carpet. Today, two other strange men (the water restoration guys) invaded their home until 11:00 P.M. These guys set up 8 loud fans and 2 loud dehumidifiers in the house. Misty hid until they left. Angel stayed outside. All the noise scared her, but she worked up the nerve to come in the house. Now she's busy sniffing all the equipment. She doesn't know quite what to make of all the gusts of air blowing in every direction. They're upset and crying for Mommy. Better go spend some time with them to calm them down.

oh wow sounds like fun NOT. i hope nothing got ruined or hurt very badly by the heater blow. everything is calm here right now and im still working on getting my brain in control so i can work on school stuff with less than 48 hrs to do 3 classes 3 weeks worth of work. hope all will fix soon.

I will need new flooring in all of these rooms. Good news: I was planning to rip up the carpet and tile the guest bath anyway, and was going to get new carpet in the other rooms. Better this happened BEFORE the new carpeting was in. None of the furniture was damaged. The restoration guy is coming back out today and should be able to remove the 8 fans and 2 dehumidifiers, so the cats and I can have peace and quiet and get some sleep around here again. They are both on edge due to all the disruption. Good luck on all your school stuff!

I'm glad to hear Angel isn't the only cat that does this. I have had two or more cats at a time since 1996 and this is the first time I have seen one cat corner another in a litter box.

UGH... the Mouse is SHEDDING LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER. FUR IS EVERYWHERE. I'm brushing her two times a day --- but it WONT STOP. Its times like this that I wish I owned a goldfish.

Thanks. the kittehs are in shelter again because we moved out of our B landlords apartment and back to the mission so yea we are in a hell right now, but the good thing is that My hubby gets to be over here with me this time because of our chipmunk UM. when i say chipmunk followed by something this is the reference nickname i gave our UM.
