Oh come on LP, everybody knows that a twue Master is an expert at everything!

subjoe101 -> RE: hello (8/9/2009 5:33:29 AM)

From my limited experience on this site, it seems that most people here are very experienced Master's or Sub's so I would say that this question was posed in the wrong forum becaue the people on this forum would not attend such as school. The truth is that there are many people out there who are curious about the lifestyle but just don't know how to do it. There are women who want to dominate their husbands who don't know where to start and visa versa.

The concept is not totally off the wall. The owner does not have to be an expert on the subject, he just needs to hire the right people. Many CEO's of large companies jump from industry to industry. They are successful because they have a vision and they get others to follow it. The school does not have to cover all forms of domination and play. There are certain common themes and behaviors in how poeple dominate or submit so a basic training curriculum could be formed. You could even come up with your own training method or standards to teach and give it a name like the "OP Submissive Standards." Not everyone has to agree with it. You just need to get people to believe in your philosophy. Just look at how many leadership classes and wieght loss progams exist. They all have different philosophies and some even conflict each other, yet people still buy the products.

Other options include offering one day classes or seminars on specific advanced techniques (this may appeal to the people on this forum).

Your initial question was basic and not too thought out, but I think if you put thought into it and take into consideration the things others mentioned in this thread, you could come up with something that works. Techniques and philosphies can be taught. It's up to each person to decide which ones they want to adopt and follow.

LaTigresse -> RE: hello (8/9/2009 5:58:48 AM)

The premise, at it's very core, is faulty. I can and have, dominated a large number of people in my life. A few even consented. Yet, there are many that, while they might be submissive to someone, they are not and will never be, submissive to me.

Which has nothing at ALL to do with being a good slave. The best dominant/master/mistress in the world could train a slave to serve them flawlessly. Then send that perfectly trained slave to me and I would find her absolutely useless. It would be more frustrating for me to UNtrain, REtrain, while explaining that, "just because Mx told you this was the, one true way, it is not MY way!" over and over and over.

The only thing I require absolutely is for them to have an overwhelming desire to serve and please ME, in whatever way I desire. Well, that and they be female and have a sense of humour.

FR~

Guess im the lucky one, the OP changed his profile before i took a look.

A suggestion to the OP, take a grammar course, please. Your initial post was one long sentence that made no sense. im not even referring to the spelling errors. periods and commas do have a place, too.

But, i can see a use for such a place, like summer camp! Go for a few weeks to learn things like tea and formal service, belly dancing, strip class (why not, right?) corset lacing, bar tending, massage... i can see a use for such a place to teach the basics. i, personally, would be more inclined to take such classes from a woman, as opposed to a man. maybe the creep factor wouldn't be as strong.

LaTigresse -> RE: hello (8/9/2009 6:53:37 AM)

No, but a really thick double chocolate shake would be awesome.

Why not develop a new version of the English language with only 20% of the spelling, grammar, thinking and communication involved?

Really. Judging by your OP and profile you seem to be making excellent progress and I'm sure there's a lot of foreigners who'd be potentially interested.

I'm confused.  I perved the profile as well, but assumed that the wife had died and he had gotten a new woman.  The fact that he stated he wanted poly I took as him having one woman and advertising for more.

If he's so lazy that he hasn't updated and still has a couples profile and a pic of a dead woman as his only profile pic... that's just creepy, and wrong.

Actually, there's no mention of who the woman is in the picture.  The text reads that the wife is dead and the 'master' is looking to start a poly household.  Personally, if I was the s type, I wouldn't be thrilled that the deceased wife was spoken of, but not mentioned as the current person in the household.

Since the OP's profile has existed since 2007, and the wife died last year, I'm leaning towards creepy.

LP, mystery solved.  He changed the profile.  It's now as a single man, no pic.  So that WAS his dead wife in the pic...

He says now that he won't give out his pic because of his job, which gets me to thinking... he isn't CEO of a Fortune 500...
