Well I have Spring Fever.
I hate the winter.
Been pouring over all of my gardening catalogs and day dreaming.
So many plans, so little time.
Want to expand my veggie and herb garden...even put a white picket fence around it.
Want to make a childrens flower garden.
Want to plant a whole section with all kinds of sunflowers.
Plant some more groundcover on a slope.
And azaleas. I want azaleas everywhere out in the woods behind my house.
Have to start in March, before the evil ticks come out.
Those little beasties serve no purpose whatsoever on this planet.
So what do you all do to chase away the winter blahs?

Well, much the same that you do but I also just go outside and sit for a time. Get in touch with the earth again. Sounds silly, but it really works.

I also tend to bake alot in the winter time. Cookies, cakes, breads, etc...anything that fills the house with that wonderful homey aroma [:)]

I hear ya girlie girl!

I am NOT a child of winter and I look longingly to my grill and chimenea, and all the empty chairs on my yard.

Soon they will be filled with friends and laughter again (for now, we all just sit inside ;) )

Can't wait for Spring, getting tired of mud golf.[:)]

A week in Playa del Carmen or Jamaica in March to break it up and get ready for warmth. This year it's Playa. In the between times, I plan my garden. Get books and plot it out. Color schemes, themes, etc.

I don't mind the winter tho, good time to have a get together and play cards or board games with friends and cockytails to warm us up.

Let's see...
grilling, golf, gardening and mudd wrestling. Oh my!
That wrestling paired with any of the above makes for such an interesting afternoon, doesn't it?

I think that it would be especially fun with the backdrop of gardening. It would flow naturally. The water hose, the fresh dirt, well, you get the picture.

Now just through a UPS man into the mix and omg I'm in heaven!

It's the uniform. And the way they flirt while they hand you the stencil (or whatever you call that little pen thing).

Aileen68 -> RE: Spring Fever (2/22/2006 3:48:57 PM)

I don't know what it is...don't really care. They are just soooo sexy!
I have such a weak spot for those men in brown.
