I relocated for my first Mistress whom I married for immigration purposes to get into the USA from Canada I don't regret it but there where a lot of complications and stress as a result of not understanding paperwork involved. things obviously didn't work out as I'm no longer with her but it was a learning experience. I am still willing to relocate maybe a little be older and wiser but not jaded. curious to hear some other success or unsuccessful experiences from others.

My former relocated from New York to Illinois. She packed a couple of suitcases and flew out. Shipping costs are ridiculous; it is simply easier to replace whatever is needed. There were no little ones to be concerned with and her with job skills, she was able to secure employment with three weeks of her arrival.

zaphira relocated from NYC to Colorado after having only met in person with Master twice. Though it took over a year before she made the move; the choice was made after meeting Master the first time. zaphira had no second thoughts; this slave sold everything she owned and bought a ticket to Colorado. zaphira has had no regrets.

Well, most of my challenges are not all the difficult to adjust to. It isn't really hard to adjust to sitting in our living room, looking out the window and watching the Bald Eagle fly over the river looking for a snack. What was hard to wrap my brain around was watching the ice flow from the river go north. It really fucked with my sense of direction; I am from the south and rivers flow south.

The first summer here, I had a hard time sleeping because my brain just wouldn't register that it was time for bed. When it is as bright at midnight as it is at 4 PM, the mind just doesn't get the message that it is time for sleep.

Those were some of my realities of locating and the hardest part was really the immigration process prior to the move. Once approval came in, it has really been smooth sailing.

this slave relocated to live with Master 5 years ago---180 miles south...from a 13 acre spread in a rural/conservative/agriculturally based environment to a house in a large metropolitan area.

this slave gave all of her "stuff" to Master, to decide what to keep and what to leave behind. a lot was given away, including three working cars. this slave was allowed to keep a few things of sentimental value, a Bernina and her costume collection.

moving to the LA area has meant access to many things, events, clubs and opportunities that just weren't (and still aren't) available where she previously lived.

serving our relationship has been an enormously exhilirating and fulfilling experience this slave just can't put to words...she would make that move again in a heartbeat.

the only thing this slave misses about where she lived is the home-town BBQ, to which Master indulges her whenever we end up that way for wine-tasting events or passing through on the way to San Francisco.
