Totally serious here now, Lockit. Sucide by COP is much MORE effective. I've seen it at least three times. Some idiot wants to 'end it all' but doesn't have the guts to pull the trigger on their own.

What they do, instead, is set up a situation to confront LE and force LE to shoot their stupid asses so they don't have to do it themselves.

Yeah. That's the way it is where I live. Some local 'artist' decided to paint the outline of a dead body right on the sidewalk outside where I live. This person thought it was funny. It was not funny.

I take exceptions to this. If the thread that the OP started is so distainful, that there is absolutely no reason to even have it up, they can request that their own thread be removed. It has happened before, it can happen again. But there has to be a very good reason for it.
The moderators can and do view the thread and it is at THEIR (or the PTB) discretion as to whether or not close it, lock it, or remove it.

The OP of that thread may have asked that it be locked, but I doubt very much that she ordered it to be shut down.

That is wrong since I got a cmail from Prinsexx and she bragged that the got her thread about the abuse of her daughter deleted, and / or locked, because she didn't expect such negative responses.

You are missing my point. I said that it is up to the discreation of TPTB here, not the author of the thread. She may have asked that the thread be locked or removed, or the mods may have made that decision on their own. My point is, we don't know for sure WHY it was locked. I just know that in the past, I have seen a thread get deleted completely, because the OP asked for it to be deleted. Dispite the train wreck that thread became, there were some very good responses and intelligent advice mixed in. Maybe that is why the OP didn't want it deleted, maybe that is why the mods didn't delete it. Again WE DON'T KNOW for a fact the why's of this.

This reminds me of something that happened to me on another forum. At first, everything was quiet and peaceful. About fifty members or so. We mostly talked about music, but occasionally we'd mess around. And that was fine for a year or so. But then a new moderator arrived. And they were really strict. And so we couldn't do anything anymore. Everyone was kinda scared of her, I know I was. But one night I was a bit drunk and decided I'd had enough. I planned it for ages, what I was going to do. Even set up several joke profiles to prepare. And then I went to wind up the mod. But they were ready for me. And in the end, it was a bit of an anti-climax. I got into one little fight and my mom got scared. She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air'

Every thing that all of you are saying would be true, IF Mod 11 hadn't sent me a nastly cmail claiming I had violated the TOS.

Once he /she did THAT, that changed the entire dynamic of this entire forum. I did NOT violate the TOS. I simply stated that PrinSexx had abused minor children that came to her house.

She is the one who admitted that she allows MINOR children to drink in her house, use illegal drugs, and have sex in her own home.

Yet, to some of you, she's some freaking heroine. Bad call.

Well, then damn! Prinsexx lied to me when she cmailed me! She went out of her way to tell me that the thread about her daughter being abused was locked because she cmailed a mod (I got the impression it was Mod 11 based on her cmail). And then she crowed about it.

Damn. I'm so stupid! But then immediately after getting the cmail from Prinsexx, I get a warning for violating the TOS from Mod 11, I tend to connect the two events as being one and the same.

In fairness to Prin, I wouldn't be so quick to assume she lied. It could very well be that she did, indeed, ask that the thread be closed, but that Mod 11 had already decided to close it for her own reasons (because several of us, myself included, really were getting pretty aggressive in our rhetoric). In which case, Prinsexx might have assumed that her request really was the reason it was closed. I know it's none of my business, but she already caught enough grief from all of us in the one thread; it wouldn't be fair to beat her up even more for something she may not have done at all.

That's not quite the case. The thread in question was not closed at the request of the poster. When he contacted us it was about to be pulled anyway due to the nature of the content.

WG, several of us have told you that prin has no control over the mods. she simply notified one that your posts violated TOS, the mods reviewed it and agreed.

Please don't take the modspank seriously. It's almost a rite of passage.

Now Wyzardsgirl you have your answer from Mod 11. Let it go. Talking about minor children or things of an illegal nature involving minor children is I am sure against TOS and that was why the thread was locked, pulled, etc.

HE? I thought Prinsexx was a SHE? Whatever. He /she made it clear that he /she will indulge minors in any kind of illegal activity including calling her own daughter a 'prick teasing slut'.! And she proudly states that she allows minor children (even by U.K. standards) to drink, use drugs, and eff their asses off in her own home as long as they sit on her bed and relate their 'experiences' to her.

Does that sound like a 'good mom' to the rest of you, or does it just sound like some perv who gets off on having kids report back to her how 'good' the sex was?

and DS is right. even as heated as we get on the P&R boards, they arent quick to pull threads over just heated words. its the content that matters most.
