Hell, I stopped posting to certain O.P.'s because they are not open to change and are really screwed up mentally. They like where they are. The Op of that thread isnt a bad person. Just a type of person who does the same thing over and over expecting a different result. I have been spanked a few times. It use to haappen quarterly.

Time will lead you to detach a bit more. Or you'll get bored and leave. Or you'll post less or only on specific threads. Live, love, laugh and learn and dont let the crazies make you crazy!

My mother talked openly about sex with me and she was no perv! Hell, I was mostly telling her the joys of it! I talked to my offspring about all sorts of things. In the 70's many parents were different. Life was different. Many kept the youngster's home so that they could monitor what they knew they were going to do anyway and maybe get into trouble with. That did not indicate poor parenting.

Each youngster is different... each situation different. No matter how we all feel... each one must do what they think best in their own situation and answer to the success or failure of our parenting. I was tough love.. but I was also open and communicated with mine. Some might feel I was awful... but darn if I didn't get some good adults out of the mix. One had emotional and mental problems all along that no one could do anything about... but I say they did well for the most part and weren't half as bad or wild as I was. My mother knew all too...

It is easy to point a finger and blame... but parenting is no easy thing and there is a lot they can get into. We all make mistakes, but that doesn't mean we are understood... bad parents or anything else but HUMAN. I had a daughter that at one point was on her way to some really bad stuff with a young man. I stood up and said no... she walked saying the most awful things about me. Now she is a darling who helps me and loves me and is very sorry her lessons were so hard on me.

Until you are there... you might show a lil grace. That perv thing is totally out of line in my view coming from a family where sexual things were not offensive or presented as... bad... deny how you feel and what you do shit. And nothing improper happened in any way.

Relax. Really. You don't know everything else that went on behind the scenes, who else got warnings for content and/or tone, or whatever. I don't know much about Mod 11 personally, but my impression of her is that she's someone who tries her best to do a professional and impartial job of enforcing the TOS without regard for the personalities of who she's policing. It's just about the TOS, pure and simple. 20 people could all be talking about the same borderline subject, and if 19 just happen to be staying just inside the lines of the TOS - and the 20th, in the judgment of the mod - is not, then poster #20 is the only one who gets the warning, regardless of Mod 11's personal feelings on the subject. I know it doesn't always seem fair, but I really think she does her absolute best to be as fair as possible, and succeeds far more often than not. And god knows we don't make it easy on her.

Please don't take it so personally, it's honestly not worth it. And keep in mind that rehashing the original thread will probably lead to the same outcome.
