I believe the best advise I got after letting my Westie go was to get back in the saddle and grab a new one.  Even if you choose one who might not be your ideal partner, you might do well just to have a touch of stress relief.  Lord knows it did me a WORLD of good!  True, no new one is going to 'take the place' of the one you had to let go, but he can help fill the time and you might be pleasantly surprised.  Mr. Right Now might just turn out to be more fun than you thought.  I know mine did.

Good for you for recognizing an incompatible partner and going through the pain to change your reality.  All to many people will lower their expectations and settle and end up unhappy and the end result is the same...it just takes a lot longer and is in the end, much more painful and destructive.  He is not responsible for meeting your needs, you are.  Good for you for recognizing that!  Now you can find someone who is more compatible with what you want in your life.

I want to find someone else who is compatible, just sucks right now.

I'm very sorry to hear that things didn't work out. No matter how problematic things were, the ending of any relationship leaves a hole that hurts and takes time to heal. I hope better times come your way soon.

A very big hole.I'm trying to fill it up.

Your right no one can take his place.

Sometimes you just have to let them go and move on.
Even though you care about them and will miss them.
