If this has been covered elsewhere, sorry, but I've been busy setting shit on fire.

A little fire play there, Level?

No, it's not wrong to ask. No, questions from beginners are not stupid.

The fact that some posters here like to make it their life's work to be snarky doesn't change the fact that this is a public forum intended for discourse on the topic of BDSM. As such, questions relevant to BDSM are all appropriate. If someone thinks the thread/question is stupid, then they have the option of not responding -- something I do frequently.

Well-put.

butterfly, I don't even know what half of his questions might be

holly, LOL... thanks for the laugh, my friend

LP, no, no fire play, not of that sort, anyway!

And to the OP: if you have a disabilty that makes writing difficult for you, I apologize for seeming harsh, but I have to think even then, there are ways of legibly getting your point across.

Level - if you refer to the OP's profile, he forewarned us about his spelling.

And again, what good is it on the profile? I don't read the profile of everyone who I read a post by. It needs to be as a sig for people to realise.

I would have to agree. The aggression in the post nearly blew me out of my little chair (must remember to install seatbelts for these angry posts), ouch. But it is true, ask questions, the only stupid question is the one unasked. You will learn from BOTH sides of the D/s from reading here. One never stops learning, even after years there are discoveries to be made.

It's odd how we all percieve things so differently. Different experiences I guess account for a lot of it. I didn't see any agression in that post, assuming you mean the one that started this thread. It seemed a little high spirited and relaxed (I only speak that freely when I am very relaxed), but not angry or pushy. This is the first post I've read by this person. I wonder if people who are percieving him as aggressive read some other posts by him first (there was mention made of another thread) that predisposed them to think he was aggressive?

Spell check isn't going to help him anyway when a good portion of the mistakes are homophones. It's pretty clear he has a disability going on.

Ok I say take that part out, because no offense, I am dyslexic and I really do not like the implication you are making there.

TazDevil is learning disabled so he can not spell very well (no he is not dyslexic or retarded).  <Said nicely> It is a mild learning disability that makes it hard to sound out words and understand math (luckily there is not much math to do on CollarMe).

You could cut and paste that if you'd like.

Thank you, MsFlutter, I just went and read it.

Taz, I again apologize for being harsh towards you, but it would help you a great deal if you can find a way to "tidy up" your posts. If memory serves me, there is someone else here that may be dealing with the same sort of issue, and she received several helpful ideas to help with posting. If I can dig that thread up, I'll send a link to you.

Taz,
your spelling reminded me of my daughters (who spells words how they sounds) so I personally didn't have an issue understanding your posts. (lol) IMO simply put you have a learnin disabiility that affects your spelling in your tag line plain and simple but even then be prepared some people are naturally ass clowns and wont care.
