Status: offline 		MysteryMusic, Our dog is afraid of thunder storms, and the last time we had a really bad one I had accidently pulled the blinds down trying to retract them so I could watch the storm* they're broke* and so she layed on the other side of the bed on the ground  hiding from the storm.

Not really.  It means that they do not consider you "higher" in the pack than they are, or they have been trained not to do it.

I mean come on... comparing some of those places is just human demoralizing and I just don't want to friggin know! They rarely get the chance to lick my face... I know where that tongue has been!

Status: offline 		I remember my Cocker spaniel never really was a kisser unless he was feeling really silly and wanted to pester you with kisses, and then dear god help you, you had to hide from him. and when we found out he was dying he licked my face.
