1. Sometimes yes, there can be a kind of burning sensaiton with urination after using sounds. Usually, that's only after the first time or two of using them, though. More often men just report that it feels a little "weird" to pee after using them if they haven't done it much. It's one of my sub's favorite activities, and he never has had any problem with a burning feeling either upon insertion or during urination. I do agree with those that have advocated having the sub drink lots of water so that they can urinate out the lube shortly after using the sounds. There can also be a slight burning sensation the first time you insert them. I've found this does go away with time, that once you've done it a few times, this ceases to happen. 2. Yes, getting erect with a sound in can definitely happen! No need to worry though. My boy likes it when he can make the sound totally disappear inside of him. He did say it makes him want to cum very much. So, we did try it. Yes, a man can cum with a sound in. My boy says it's an exquisite feeling! You know the way a man spurts a few times when coming? With him, if the sound is not visible, with the first spurt it emerges about an inch. The second about 3 ", the third almost all the way, and by the fourth he pushes it out. He tends to cum quite a bit after it's out as well. I even have him trained to do this now on command with a countdown from 10. He loves it! With bigger, heavier sounds, we found that he cannot push them out with ejaculation. It doesn't cause any harm. When the sound is removed, the ejaculate just seeps out. I don't at all agree with the thought that you should never insert it farther than the head. As long as you don't use force to insert it, it can be inserted all the way. My guys report that it can touch the prostate and cause very pleasurable feelings. I have never had any man report pain or bladder issues after a sound session. 3. Yes, double penetration is possible. I have done it on my boy and another bottom I see. Vibrator in the ass with a sound in the penis. Both had amazing orgasms with the sound in. They said it was especially potent to have the prostate stimulation from both sides. Those are answers to the question you posed, OP. Now, a bit more from my own experience with them. I have introduced sound play to at least 6 men over the last year or two. It is an extremely scary concept for most guys to deal with. Even my boy was scared of it at first. Most men's only experience with anything down their dick is when they go for an STD test and a cotton swab is used. Cotton is abrasive, and the point of it is to get a sample. It's not at all the same thing as using sounds. The way introduced it to him, was to have him watch me do it with a man that already enjoyed sound play. Once he saw that it did not hurt, and he talked to the other man about how it felt, we tried it on him at a different time. This activity was then added to his "LOVES IT" list! lol At the last BDSM campout we had around here, I did it with him as a demo to show other men what it was like. Many after that expressed an interest in at least trying it. The opening to the penis is not as flexible and cannot be stretched or "trained" as much as most other orifices (i.e. anal play). I do not insert the sounds using any kind of force. First, make sure of where you are trying to insert it. Actually visualize the opening, don't just go on feel. For many men, the urethral opening is not right in the middle of the head of the penis, it is off-center toward the bottom. Men can have a flap of skin in the fold of the slit that can look like the opening, but it isn't. Trying to force a sound in there will cause pain. Definitely use gloves and lube. I've found both silicone and water-based lubes can work. Silicone is non-biogenic, but there are varying grades of it. Buck up and pay for the good stuff. When actually inserting the sound, start with the smallest (usually about 3 mm) and then you can work up from there. The sounds I use are 6" long, hollow, and slightly curved with blunt, rounded ends. Half the soundis one size, and the other half is 1 mm bigger. DO NOT try to force one in. Just insert the end into the opening and let gravity do the work. Let the sub adjust to it if they are inexperienced in this form of play. You can move the sound in and out of the penis, but do so gently. If the sounds are curved, as mine are, you can also rotate them for a totally different feeling. I also use tuning forks and vibrating gloves to vibrate the sound while it is inserted. My boy really loves that! Once you've used the small one you can increase in size (I've used up to 8 mm with my boy and 9 mm with another man). The men I've used them on report that increasing size does increase the pleasurable experience. However, if the sound doesn't slide in easily, don't force it. It is important to clean and sterilize the sounds after use and before next use. However VERY few people have access to an autoclave to do so. Autoclaving anything that isn't high-quailty stainless steel usually does cause rust/oxidation that then must be removed before use. Thankfully, there are other methods of sterilization that are more available. A 10% bleach solution will sterilize, but be careful with sounds that are plated and not stainless steel. There are many methods of "cold sterilization" - sterilization without heat, not sterilization by ice. I used cold sterile methods to clean many of my surgical instruments. There are hospital-grade cleaner/disinfectants/germicides that are specifically made to kill HIV, TB, and all kinds of bacteria and viral agents. These are the same things they use to clean up blood spills and the rooms of patients with communicable infections. They are also the kinds of solutions I used to scrub down a room that was normally non-sterile to use is as as sterile room. I use one such product called LPH for sterilizing all of my toys. Finally, boiling is also an option with metal and/or pyrex toys. As with any insertable toy, "Borrowing" sounds from someone and using them when you do not know how they've been cleaned and who they have been used on prior to your using them is never advisable. Sounds are one insertable you can't put a condom on and use them effectively. However, if you have thouroughly cleaned and sterilized your sounds and know the partners you've used them with are STD and disease free, I don't see how you can get HIV or other STDs from them. To date, I have never had any man I've used my sounds on get any kind of infection, bladder, urethral or otherwise. Play safe, have fun!
