Sounds like a very very common fantasy among powerful/rich men and (usually)younger women... Myself included. I cannot understand the animosity either really. Many women 'prostitute' themselves for affection, stability, love, a partner that can provide for them and offspring. Would a vanilla guy who didn't buy dinner and prove he could provide for his partner be that successful? My advice to you would depend on a lot of details that I lack. I'm young, no career path forged yet, just an office job here and an office job there in fields I have no plans to stay in past college. In other words, my future is not invested in my current job. If it were, I might think twice before dating my boss and definitely before taking on this type of arrangement. You want to have sex with him? ...He's cute and funny. He wants to pay you for that. Who is losing here? You get 2,000 dollars a month and the ability to walk away whenever you'd like... as long as you are smart. Save the money. Don't get a better apartment or start a new car payment or blow it on the trivial. Don't indulge in emotional fantasies about this guy. In other words, don't spoil yourself. Save it for your future. Save it for when this arrangement finally ends. And it will end. The only huge mistake I see is thinking it will last forever and building your life around that. If it doesn't make you feel good, then don't do it. If it does make you feel good, then don't hesitate or let anyone else's judgment value keep you from that.

Did anyone ever see the movie GIGI? It is about a young woman who is groomed to become a rich man's mistress. This kind of stuff has been going on a long time. June is correct, if you are going to do this keep working hard and use that money to live on and save the money he gives you to be his slut. Sure he's her boss and that could lead to problems down the road, but lots of people do their bosses without money exchanging hands, and the truth is, the boss is the one with most to lose (I did a boss years and years ago - a senior VP of the company. Had he offered 2 grand for it, you bet I'd have taken him up on that!). To the OP, if you can handle this emotionally, go for it. Write up an agreement so you're both moving forward with the same understanding of what can be/can not be done. It's basically reverse-tributing, isn't it? [;)]

~FR~ Now, a more sustainable business model (setting aside the legal complications for the moment) might be that he lays down two grand a month, sets you up in an apartment, and sends men over for you to fuck as he pleases, turning a profit on the deal that he can use to cover the expense as well as retain a few attorneys. Your usefulness as such an asset is limited to the early part of your life, though, so you should be thinking in terms of a financial standing that will support you through the rest of your life, including health, retirement, living expenses, and probably therapy.
