I'll echo the sentiments that find mild confusion at this scenario being seen as any weirder or more dangerous than any other.

The OP seemed to make clear a previous break based on pre-determined parameters that had been discussed. If this involvement has adequate pre-planning and understanding of mutual expectations, then it seems jolly good to me.

Look sit down and talk about your fears and make it clear that you reserve the right to walk away at ANY TIME.

Understand that if he is paying you for your sexual wilds then you are commiting prostitution. It is a crime, and you can be arrested for it. Being that you are on the Payroll he will have to figure out how to give you this raise and make it taxable. It is easy to do but depending on how the corporation is set up could cause some problems in the long run.

The Biggest problem with this how you will be paid as you and he will both be reporting it to the IRS so you all will need to havce a firm understanding on how payment works.

Know that what you both will be doing is ILLEGAL in all 50 States outside a licensed Brothel, because of this you will need to be careful how you engage in this practice. Anyone who gets an idea about what is going on can easily blackmail the both of you. Not that this happens all the time just know it is a possible negative outcome.

As for the relationship if you guys are still friends and you want to fill this position then just make sure the terms work for BOTH of you.

And that you are free to walk away from him and the paycheck at ANY TIME.

If you are so excited about it, why don't you give it a try for a couple of months of so. It will be even more exciting for you if he throws the money in your face after he is done using you for the night. (I think that's hot).

My gut says he will pull out of the deal soon as he realizes that you've become a pretty expensive whore (literally speaking here)...unless money is not an issue for him.

My (rather crude) kneejerk reaction?   Never shit where you eat.

After some reflection, i still would not accept this arrangement as is.  Find another job and then consider:
A) What DarkSteven asked about what broke you up and whether it's still there
B) The legality of the situation for you and him.
C) Whether being paid for sex is really something that makes you tingle, or is it just getting a slice, any slice, of this particular guy.

I agree with you there that happened to some guy that embezzeled money from his charittee to a pay a dominatrix to beat him back in 2004. He (I assume) lost his wife, kids, job, and I read that he got a pretty harsh prison sentence. Which means he's sleeping with one I open and clinging to that soap for dear life.
