Okay, then given this bit of information, why not just contact the manufacturer and ask them? For an item of this cost, I'd like to think the manufacturer would be of greatest assistance in order to keep their customers coming/cuming back for more. That'd be my first call, anyway... to the manufacturer to inquire about some options. Maybe mailing it back to them for repair or a discount on replacement if the purchase was not that long ago.

This is a place that builds new, reconditions old ones and I believe they would repair Yours. http://home.earthlink.net/~violetwanda/customerservice.html I've been to several of their demos on the wand. I believe their physical address is in Florida. Scotty
