Okay New Patern from Steel

1 - 6 - 16 - 36 - 76 - 156 - 316 - ______

What is the Next Number in the Sequence and how was it found

Steel

Here is Another in case this first one is too easy for you

3 - 13 - 33 - 73 - 153 - 313 - _________

What is the next number in the Sequence and how was it found.

There are two answers to both but one is much easier than the other and does not require you to do any extra math to get the answer it is a simply mathamatical pattern in both.

376 for the first and 373 for the second

eta  each increment increase by 10 then 20 then 30 etc.

fluffypet61 -> RE: h (8/28/2009 1:01:18 PM)

Steel - the first one is 636...doubling the previous difference and adding to the ending number.
1 to 6 difference is 5
6 to 16 difference is 10
16 to 36 difference is 20
36 to 76 difference is 40
76 to 156 difference is 80
156 to 316 difference is 160
the next difference is 320
316 + 320 = 636

Same rule for the other one to get 633

fluffypet61 -> RE: h (8/28/2009 1:09:51 PM)

Another number puzzle but a little different from Steel's.

In what order are these numbers?

8, 5, 4, 9, 1, 7, 6, 3, 2, 0

i'm not looking for the next since they are all already here.

sappatoti -> RE: h (8/28/2009 1:54:52 PM)

They're in the fluffy order, of course.

fluffypet61 -> RE: h (8/28/2009 2:04:08 PM)

Not just fluffy order...Sappa.  Think outside the BOX.

Hint, it's not a numerical order.

Is this a new fun thread, so fun, it needs only one letter?

fluffypet61 -> RE: h (8/28/2009 4:32:03 PM)

So far it's whatever you want it to be, mdr...letters, groups of letters, numbers.....

i'm not sure that's what the OP had in mind.

Definitely not in numerical order.
