There oughta be a law against a musician or group covering a song if the definitive version has already been done and no improvement on said version is being offered. Some examples of this are: Dancing In The Street, by Martha and the Vandellas; On Broadway, by The Drifters; and, to a lesser extent, My Girl, by The Temptations. Bob
