Also a Christian here, trying to find My way in this life. I have discovered many things in life but I think tolerance for others differences has served Me well and I hope to continue living and believing that way. Way to go Lester keep up your search and beliefs in your way no mater the opposition you may get along the way!

This doesn't seem fair. You have long ago abrogated your right to enjoy these freedoms. It's like Tim Eyeman going on welfare. The hypocrisy is hard to take.

It isn't "hypocrisy", it's growth........and I'd say we all have room for it, including you.

"Fair"?? Fair is where you go for cotton candy, it doesn't have much to do with life beyond that.

Sounds like the OP has some issues to work out. Lotta self-loathing going on there. It's kinda creepy. I find his language to be divisive.

as a switch growing up in a predominantly catholic/christian country i know the double life painfully well. but honestly, can you think of anything more BDSM than a man nailed to 2 pieces of wood, suspended and ridiculed?
i am a non practicing catholic, but cherish such scenes dearly. i congratulate you on your epiphany. its never too late to discover the other side.

Sorry, didn't realize the "rights" police were on the board....so maybe we should all send you detailed histories of our past and you can tell us if we are worthy to enjoy this lifestyle or not.

I always am happy to see when people realize that they were not neccasarily wrong in what they were doing, but they weren't 100% right. I personally have no problem with those people that are extremeist when it comes to religion of any faith, but the problem arrises when it has a blinding effect on you. When you think that your way is the only way and anyone that thinks otherwise is somehow lesser. I'm happy to see someone that stood up for what they beleaved in flipping the coin and standing up for the fact that they now see things differently.

Right or wrong is a matter of perception, and experience. It is not my place nor anyone elses place to tell you which is which, but your own innerself that matters. You have to live with yourself everyday, regardless of your beliefs.

Lester:

I have to agree with some others here.
By faith I'm a Christian also. It never stopped me from having the BDSM lifestyle that I love, and I don't see a conflict.

Unfortunately, some, "in God's name" have declared war. Too bad, they're fighting fellow believers who wish for nothing that to be left alone to pursue what they want.

I follow the same ideals that our founding fathers did...I leave people alone. Funny, if you study Christ's life, you'll find out that he was HATED by the religious authorities of His day. Why? He hung out with people very close to us.. In the end, He was right, and the "religious authority" of the day was proven wrong.

Come to think of it...look what they did to Him.

I`m a christain and let me start off by, i love you all. but everyony is different in their own way.Gay, straight, bi whatever. no one is better than anyony eles. But i choose to be this waybut offer no sex in doing it. for me, i`m trying to fulfil my 15 year desire. A true christain would not have walked away from christ then harped about it `` gods will later on in life. Don`t mean to be harsh, but i will and always will defend gods work.
