ORIGINAL: thebongripper First off, shows are better with weed. Period. Secondly, Bongripper is actually an ambient stoner doom band. They're pretty good, but I like the name more than their music really... Thirdly, I go to shows (NOT CONCERTS. CONCERTS FUCKING SUCK) about twice a month. The last one I went to was headlined by a band called Seinzum Tode. You should look them up. They play technical jazz metal. < chuckles and pats bongripper on the head > Rock on kid. Not a problem in the world with 420 but unwise in public venues. Over 800,000k 420-related arrests last year alone. Gotta love the war on drugs....[:'(] Yes...I am certain that an ambient stoner doom band will make a big difference in the world and will matter in a large sense. [8|] But, if they matter to you, that's cool. (Relatively certain that not knowing wtf an ambient stoner doom band is does not render me uncool but I''m going to google the term anyway...who knows, I may enjoy it, I like ambient electronica). You should expand your horizons, really. Shows kick ass but a concert with 50,000 people is something special unto itself...each has its merits. And, I know, being 18 and off-putting is fun ('Course, I did it more when I was 13 than 18 but ya know...) but, seriously, there's more out there than what you've discovered thus far. :> Davan I've been to concerts. I fucking hate them. There's people everywhere, they stink something funky, they can't carry on a conversation for an entire minute... In other words, I'm more comfortable at a show where I know people than one where I'm surrounded by 100,000 people. That is just not appealing me. I can see the joy in being around a lot of people when I think from another person's point of view, but to me, there is nothing better than a house show with 100 people.
