Well, I'm now in Michigan, and I start my job Monday. As for the VA, I tried to get some help from them. My DD214 was stolen, and the person there told me I had to get another copy of it before they could help me. I could tell she was trying really hard to NOT have to deal with me. Unfortunate luck of the draw, I guess. But that's all behind me now.
