Sure, you'll still get the random note from someone in Nigeria. Report it and move on. Other than that, if you've made yourself a target for being scammed, maybe it's time to stop looking at them and start looking at you.

Oddly enough, OP, if you were writing people of your own age and attractiveness this wouldn't happen. The scammers almost always represent themselves as barely legal and of outstanding beauty, frequently with pics pulled from a porn site. Try representing yourself as who you really are, warts and all, and being interested in women who represent themselves accurately instead of searching for the elusive 18 year old with Barbie stats. Because if such a person exists, it is doubtful she's looking for someone old enough to be her grandfather.
